Question to other tv shows:Why even fucking bother?
I've enjoyed the last seasons.
But this season they get Blue Beetle and Booster Gold! And Darkseid!
A Friend of mine asked me, "What's Smallville like?"I told her it's a show that tries to Sprint before it can crawl and so it accomplishes neither. She was fairly satisfied with that.
Is this really something?
>The AsylumStopped there.Yes, it's real.
So... Nirvana thread.
What else could I say? Everyone is gay.
This thread is stupid and contagious.
The Walking Dead thread
Holy shit i didn't realise Rick was being played by Simon from Teachers haha oh wow

Gangway folks, Polka thread coming through.
>>17977I had to learn to like it, so will you.
>>17992Never!
I LOVE DANCING, I can only Charlton and Calloway Boogy, I have put no effort into learning any other kind of dance, though I'm passable at slow dance and Square Dance.Being a person from the 1950's is same wherever I go, I'm always out of place.
Let's have a thread for discussion of odd/awesome movie theories.I'll start with an old one: Zion was just another level of the Matrix created to placate the stronger humans and prevent them from breaking out for real.
>>17971Movies since the books don't exist in a set time o my knowledge. That line of questioning should be of interest if they ever start the franchise up again.
Deckard, Indiana Jones and Han Solo are literally the same person I.E. Wandering Jew Type Scenario
>>17941>I'll start with an old one: Zion was just another level of the Matrix created to placate the stronger humans and prevent them from breaking out for real. That was always my theory! I mean, the whole message of The Matrix was that the world you see may be an illusion. So how do they know that the world they see outside the computer may be an illusion as well?
This is the most brutally depressing movie I have ever seen.
Saw it when I was younger, both the book and the movie. >>17894 speaks the truth.
If the movie is as shitty as the play, I'd be depressed too.
>>17924>>17924 0/10 Back to the playpen anon: >>17839 ...this thread isn't for you.
WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME ABOUT THIS?!HOLY FUCK GUYS
I feel like I missed something fantastic.
>>17954Sorry man, Ill see if I can fix it up for you.
>>17955Thanks for that, Tiki. Shit was cash.
Guitarfag here,I was wondering how to fix a guitar problemwhenever i hit a note on guitar that is like:A---5---|E---0---|The low e rings out so low that i cant hear the A.How do I fix this problem?(pic unrelated)
Strum your E with less enthusiasm.
What are you watching and/or listening to at this very moment?
...Sorta reminds me of Yo Gabba Gabba.
This song is too fucking good.
So inspirational.
No new Tron 2 trailer thread? This is an outrage!
>>17875And yet, we haven't heard a single daft punk track.
>>17888Well, you've seen the trailers. What, did you think they got the music for them from stock?
It felt pretty generic to be honest. It didn't sound like them at all.
"As Bill Cosby said....I started out as a child. I started out as a child also, I started out as a young person interested in movies, what I felt about movies at 15, even 20, was very interesting and fascinating to me but from my perspective I didn't know much at that age and I think when anyone puts their ideas out before the public there ought to be some justification for it. Not simply because you're an American living in a democracy, but that you have some experience to know what you're talking about, that you are learned and professional, and if you don't have that...thats what clubs are for, thats what friendships are for. And I do think the internet has distorted that, it has confused what film criticism is...I don't say it to be insulting to anyone, and I don't ever mean to be discouraging, but I am a professional film critic, and I don't have much respect for people who are not, or even professionals who don't follow the profession.""There should be no film critics younger than 30, before that you don't know much about art, or life."
>>17821>product placementFucking WHERE?? The Buy-N-Large batteries?
>>17901He seems to be under the impression that the toys used in the movie which weren't fictional (before the movies was/were made) are there because the companies that own them paid Disney/Pixar for them to be included, instead of them being used with permission because those are the toys the writers just felt like having in the movie.
>>17821Ebert did more than that. He pretty much broke this guy's shenanigans down.Of course, that's too much effort when you can always just point out that Transformers 2 is his favorite movie ever.
Vampires were pretty gay even before Twilight.
>>17540
>>17550And then comes a story like "30 Days of Night." Or "Let the Right One In." All is not yet lost.
>>17833I Am Legend also.
We need a thread about The Wire. I just started watching it a couple months ago, and my initial thoughts were "Hurr, a show about drug dealers. This might be interesting."This is the greatest television series I have ever seen. It would not surprise me if it was the greatest television series ever made. MY GOD. EVERY GOOD THING I HEARD ABOUT IT WAS TRUE.>season three>episode 11>"Well, get on with it, motherfu–" SUDDENLY BULLETS
>>17593>implying that it's possible for the greatest TV series ever to be overrated
I know what Clay Davis would say about The Wire."SHEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT"
I've seen it from beginning to end about 6 times, and am considering watching it again. On the other hand, I might just not watch it at all for 10 years so I can more fully enjoy it next time. Also, was anyone else totally underwhelmed by Treme? I was really hoping it would be good and gave it a chance until the very end, but was totally disappointed.
