No new Tron 2 trailer thread? This is an outrage!
>2Isn't this a reboot, rather than a sequel?
>>17842No, it's a continuation as far as I know. I mean, it's got Flynn.
>>17843Hot Flynn on Flynn action, actually.
>>17843yea but it does make the Tron 2.0 game and comics non canon
>>17842It's a sequel. In movie-canon.
SoooFlynn=Welman MatrixClu=Megabyte Sam= Enzo Matrix in Renegade Mode Alan=Turbo? Or maybe Phong
This doesn't make sense to me. Stark, the MCP, and pretty much everything else got deleted in the first movie right? So what's going on here?
>>17853What? where did you get THAT idea?
>>17854Well it's been years since I've seen it I admit, but I remember Tron and Flynn deleting Sark and the MCP at least.
>>17855MCP got whupped and and all networked systems got freed from his control and everything went back to being able to communicate with the outside world and their users instead of being silenced by the MCP. And it seems that either Clu never was deleted or was rebuilt by Flynn.
I actually just watched Tron for the first time the other night. That movie is so 80's I almost grew a mullet by the time it ended.
>>17864I saw it for the first time a few months ago. As a many who grew up in the 90's, I have to say their portrayal of computers was almost painful to watch. There were just so many plot holes, ridiculous concepts, and times that I just wanted to shout, "Computers don't work like that!"
>>17868That's how computers were in the early 80s. It's factually accurate.
>>17869you would enter a query and it would answer back, in some ways they were more advanced then they are now.
lO"$",890's kids... Psht.
I think it speaks to how good this looks that I can't wait for this despite not liking the first movie.
>>17875And yet, we haven't heard a single daft punk track.
>>17888Well, you've seen the trailers. What, did you think they got the music for them from stock?
It felt pretty generic to be honest. It didn't sound like them at all.
