...GOD.Never did watch "Wild Green Yonder." Now tempted.
He doesn't have a skeleton, he's supported by a series of fluid-filled bladders.
Two episodes in, and it's funny as hell! Fuck the haters on /co/, it's still awesome.I'm just happy that they didn't drop the Fry/Leela thing.
>>64871Oh blast. I've been missing it!
>>64878No you haven't. Airs tomorrow. It's just that the first two episodes of the new season have leaked.
>>64871So far I think they haven't overdone it either.
It's one of my favorite shows, but holy shit that first episode bored me to tears. The second one was pretty fucking funny though.
FUCK YEAH SO GOOD
First episode = major "meh."Second episode = awesome.
Where are you guys watching?
>>65057I believe it leaked online a couple days ago.
>>65050I laughed a lot more during the first episode than the second.
the first episode was the funniest ive seen in a while. i dont know why, but i had to pause it for a few min as my friend and i laughed our asses off.
Where the hell is everyone seeing these first two episodes? Shit isn't supposed to premier until tomorrow night. CURSE MY SLOWPOKING!
I lol'd like a bitch during the second one. I don't know why but this part is priceless to me."Glove recognized. Proceed, Mrs Eisenhower." "Mr President. What the hell."
>>65194It's the internet, they get their hands on things way to damn fast.HEY! MEATBAGS! BE SURE TO ACTUALLY WATCH IT ON COMEDY CENTRAL TONIGHT!
>>65050This happened four times too many.
>>65228Can't. I have work.
>>65249Then I'll watch it double.
>>65228Can't. I live in Canada.
>>65228thanks for reminding me.
I already watched the first two episodes, but what the hell, I can watch them again.FUCK YES, FUTURAMA IS BACK!
COMMENCE INTERCOURSE
So people on other!/co/ are complaining that Leela "raped" Zapp at the end of the second new episode.Boo-fucking-hoo.Of course, they're probably trolling.
>>65397
First episode had me in stitches. Second episode isn't letting up.
After seeing both episodes, I get the feeling the first was originally supposed to be an hour-long thing.I mean the actual jokes and stuff are funny, but all the dialogue and stuff goes so fast that it's screwing up the timing.
>>65447Seems like the whole Bender subplot was unnecessary, but the brand new episode after so long just couldn't be devoid of Bender, so they jammed it in.
>>65448Bender partying=always relevant to the plot. Tales of Interest taught me that.
>>65490 I am mildly disappointed that there was no mention made of Slurms MacKenzie. May we never forget.Party on, Slurms.
>>65492Party on, contest winners. Party on.;-;
where did the funny go?
>>65515Directly to be, because I found it just hilarious!
>>65515The hell are you talking about? It's still fucking hilarious.
I enjoyed that and I look forward to the rest of the new season. Good to have you back Futurama.
Anyone have links to the episode?
OH BOY OH BOY NEW EPISODES TONIGHT!
Well, that was pretty disappointing. Reminded me of Family Guy.>>65679>Link to new episodeshttp://rs.4chan.org/?s=Futurama&from=ALLNew episodes are Season 6, eps 1, 2, and 3. I wouldn't do the /b/ ones, do the /co/ ones. Enjoy!
So, wait, I don't get it. The regressed Fry and Leela's relationship AGAIN?
>>68079I knew something was up when they advertised it with goat vomit.
>>68100Pretty much. Frankly this is why I gave up on Futurama during the lame as shit movies. This crap is as bad as the romance in Inuyasha. Got so tiresome I just quit and hearing the word of mouth, I see no reason of being pulled into this.
>>68285>Movies>LameNO SIR, FUCK YOU.
>>68290Fuck you, good day SIR.
Gentlemen, gentlemen PLEASE.It's not that the movies and S6 are any better or worse than most of the series, it's that they came after The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings, which was the best episode of anything ever, so they SEEM like shit.
>>68375I'm okay with this.
>>68375That really was the best episode.
>>68079I don't see episode 3 anywhere.
>>68661i fucking put it up on /co/ last night what the hell.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WI8IQJ22Futurama S06E03attack of the killer app.
>>69273Best new one yet. Thank you!The severe meanness of "Susan Boil*" was offset by the return of Mom (yay!) and a well-deserved Apple ass-kicking.* admittedly an odd choice of topic, given that the rest of the episode is about one's fifteen minutes of fame dropping off into obscurity; I didn't even get the reference at first."Shwow! It's that obscure underground song that's constantly playing everywhere!"
>>70412moms just more evil since the clone of mr. burns left her for the alien chick made of gold.
Season 6, Episode 4 – “Proposition Infinity”Bender has a personal stake in a ballot initiative that would legalize marriage between humans and robots.Hrmmm don't tell me they are losing steam already?
>>71481Eh, on the one hand they got rid of Amy and Kiff's relationship to make Amy and Bender end up together, which was dumb, but on the other hand I laughed enough that I didn't care. On the one hand, character development was tossed out the window, on the other I laughed. I think my sense of humor beats out my nerd rage on this one.
>>71566Spoiler tag, shitsquirt.
futurama s6e4Proposition infinityhttp://www.megaupload.com/?d=QA5GXVGD
>>71566But will that last? I mean people got to like the dynamics of the old episodes and if they just start throwing all that out for laughs..gonna be some trouble.
Comedy gold.
Futurama had five seasons to get to the state we remember. They just shook off that lethargy with a few movie length continual productions.Give'em time. The writing should improve, if only to set the jokes up better.
>>72107here's hoping since I don't want to wish for its death like I do Simpsons
Ohhhhhhh my~
>>72618Oh George, I want him in my next Star Trek TV show
I see the rule that every prime time animated series has to do a Da Vinci Code spoof is still in effect.
>>74210At least it wasn't the whole episode.
Futurama.S06E05The Duh-Vinci Code http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Z5PKCMXG
>>74220The last two episodes have me worried. It seemed so dumbed down in a family guy sort of way. Amy just isn't funny, no matter what you do.
>>74395>This episode didn't tickle my balls to my liking. The show isn't exactly the same as it was years ago. I shall notify the Internet and demand a waaaambulance.Suicide Booths are still accepting quarters.
>>74395foolish mortal....they are decent. way better than the first four new family guys after renewal.
I've been laughing my ass off at each one, you're all crazy.
>>74578
>>74578of course their funny. I'm laughing at them too. especially the latest one which revealed that the professors role model is an alien whose the stupidest member of his species.
DAT DA VINCHI EPISODE. Also a real sighting of the Space Pope at last, but now this "Braino" character shows up to tease us. I MUST KNOW HIS TALE!
Yeah, this latest davinci episode is the first one so far this season that has felt like real futurama to me. The other episodes were okay though.
>>74892>Also a real sighting of the Space Pope at lastI think the commentaries on the older episode DVD said they planned an episode with the Space Pope making a real appearance, but I don't think this is it.Who knows if that'll end up happen; did they mention if any of the scripts/concepts that they didn't get around to using for the original run are going to be used?
Neither Bender nor Leela not visiting Fry in the hospital was incredibly out of character.
>>74971It was for the sake of a joke.Don't look too much into it.
>>74971fucking grammars, how do they work?
NEW EPISODE WAS FANTASTIC!Also Hermes and Bender confirmed for bros.
Oh jeez.I'm crying tears of daww.
>>76220Same here. This and the Da Vinci ep have revived my faith that they will be able to recapture the glory days.
Anyone have a download link to the new episode?
>>76310Download: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0lmkhe3sStream: http://futuramaepisode.org/episode-6-lethal-inspection/
>>76311Thanks!
Wow, Hermes just became my favorite character on the show.
>>76311This episode, she make-a me cry!
Hermes is awesome.
I'd say Forward Time Machine is best episode of the season
Fucking DAAAAAAWW
>>78119Yes, that was very awesome. Also, the actual name of the episode is "The Late Philip J. Fry" (OK, it's not really a big spoiler, but I'm just being cautious).
Wow... what an episode.
So, is the season better than The Beast with a Billion Backs?
>>78201HA HA HAOH WOWThis episode! I can't even think about it! I'm afraid my head will burst! Cubert lives the fantasy. OH GHODDDDD
My verdict: It is just like old Futurama. The first season took a bit of momentum to get going, and then it was an enjoyable romp bouncing between contented smiles and hearty guffaws. You have to remember that Futurama has been around eleven years. Only active for about half that time, but the point is the writers have to trip over static canon in order to make jokes.Kif and Amy got back together at the end so no harm no foul.
Did Old Leela remind anyone else of Batman Beyond Babara?
>>78292She's not the original Leela... is she?
>>78326No. She's off by ten feet.
currently uploading the new episode the late Philip fry
It's official; Futurama is back.First few episodes were a little rough, but the latest have been a riot. The time machine one and the Bender/Hermes one felt like they could have been right out of the original seasons. I'm beyond happy right now.
Hermes...you're my favorite. :)
link provided in a second was called away to funeral business then car broke.
futurama the time machine episode.http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JFL6IY7Ttold you give them 5 or six episodes and they would be \back.
