...GOD.Never did watch "Wild Green Yonder." Now tempted.
>>83766>but he will take a new name for himself and treat his Clamps as an accessory and not as an identification of himself.>implying the status quo won't be restored.
>>83774The joke will be that his new name will still be his old one but with a different meaning."From now on. No longer do I recognize myself only by these appendages on my arms! For now I shall take a new name! As though I were remodelled from fresh CLAy. The mere thought raMPS me up to new heights! From now on. I shall be called... CLAMPS!"Que everyone applauding.
>>83787 Do any of you read the Futurama comics? Anyone notice how much like the comics the show is becoming? I like it, personally.
>>84638I read one about illegal pepper on free comic book day once. Is there a real difference?
Awesome episode tonight!
>>84996http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7R63QYVETONIGHTS FUTURAMAAT THE MERCY OF BENDA OR SOMETHING
>>84991The comic has more puns as in "You shoulda called my cousin Turner!" Type stuff.
>>85000This episode, it is glorious.
Chest compartment full of chainsword wielding robots. Oh by all that is good
Oh washbucket...
>>85086Poor Scruffy...
>>85086>>85217 There love was not meant to be Wait, what am I saying, this is Futurama, when has that stopped anyone?
>>85410Just goes to show most blue collar workers are honest, decent people.Ep 10 was miles above earlier episodes this season. I just wish the voices also didn't swap. Oh well.
Found this for people who were confused how all this worked out in the end.
This is the last futurama episode I've seen with my brother before he moves away... good thing it was a good one.
>>85431That bugged me too.
>>85431Yeah, but they always do in episodes like this.Comfort yourself in the fact that at least Zoidberg and Fry are capable of sounding identical, based on the real world.
>>85524People have too much time on there hands.
>>85086
>>85689Really... REALLY?
>>85689There's a lot of sick people on the internet....Hot though.
>>85702>>85690I just posted it because it seemed sweet...She even has silvery gray hair to match Scruffy's stache.
/co/ is unsurprisingly conflicted about the new "Omicronian.
>>87165I read this as 'surprisingly' and wondered what /co/ you'd been visiting lately.
Eh. I'd have to say that Grrrl feels out of place to the point I wouldn't be surprised if she was based off someone the writers know.
This episode feel a little "Simpson-y" to anyone else?
The only good part was Fry's comics. Meh.
>>87465The COmicon bit was OK, but they just keep trying to carry episodes with the most fringe side characters.
It was good in that I laughed out loud several times, but it was bad in that it's beating Fry Luvz Leela to death--although it was good to start getting clues why Leela continues to balk...and didn't we already do this episode, but with Sasquatch? (It's telling that they callback to "Problem with Popplers" but completely ignore "Spanish Fry.")Oh well. They can't all be home runs, I liked Grrrl (despite the obviousness of her blaster being one of the Professor's teleporters), and the Futurella panel bit didn't overstay its welcome too long.
I swear, this is the only time I've seen +/co/ whine more about something than /co/ classic.
>>87553This looks more like critique.
The episode was meh until ORSON WELLES.
>>87569I swear that is the best impression I've ever heard.
>87599And it's the same one Maurice LaMarche used in Pinky and the Brain.
Does somebody have a link to the new episode? The one on /rs/ doesn't work.
>>87569Orson Welles turning War of the Worlds into food commercials? Brilliant. And oh so written entirely for Maurice Lamarche to get him to lay off on doing it behind the scenes a bit.
>Status quo not restored.Good episode overall, especially DEM BACKGROUND CHARACTERS.
>>89315>Status quo not restored. What? You mean Nixon?
>>89546I mean the mutants being treated as equals. I assumed they would gain equality and then it would be removed by the end of the episode.
>>87465you mean the one they gave me at sdcc this year?
>>89564>not paying attention>didn't realize new ep up>thought you meant Lrrreconcilable Ndndifferences>NEW EP UP OH SH--
>my face when I saw Barbados Slim
Oh my lord.
I love CG.
>>89875Wait.Is that...An older Jean-Luc Picard?
>>90564Good news, everyone!
>>90578He he he, I heard that in his voice.
>>90578Hmmm...Now I'm trying to imagine how a live-action Futurama would be cast..
>>90717Oh, I did larf when "Zoidberg" showed up.
I enjoyed this crossover cameo. Nice to see Zoiby can afford some of the nicer things in lif--well, in Georgia.
