My verdict: It is just like old Futurama. The first season took a bit of momentum to get going, and then it was an enjoyable romp bouncing between contented smiles and hearty guffaws.

You have to remember that Futurama has been around eleven years. Only active for about half that time, but the point is the writers have to trip over static canon in order to make jokes.

Kif and Amy got back together at the end so no harm no foul.

First few episodes were a little rough, but the latest have been a riot. The time machine one and the Bender/Hermes one felt like they could have been right out of the original seasons. I'm beyond happy right now.

Anyway, this episode was hilarious to me as someone who has ALWAYS lived with cats.

I've been enjoying the season overall. For the most part, the episodes are pretty good, with a lot of the humor and sensibility intact.

I liked it.

I liked the new episode, I'm certain it will garner hatred from butthurt theists and the usual people who hate new futurama, but it was good. 4chan was too busy complaining about the whole evolution bit, and ignored the fact that it was just a set up for the rest of the episode and not, as one retard put it "Ham-fisted liberal propaganda." Definitely not the best episode of the season though.

This season seems like they're trying for a more "typical cartoon" feel than the first series.(Though, the episode with the $300 was a step in this direction, as well as Bender's Game) I really like it when they don't try to cram in every sci-fi reference they can and stick to just trying to be funny.

So does anyone else actually want to see deliveries/odd jobs as a set up for the episodes?
