Dedicated video cards for laptops look like this, right?I always see advertised that those cards have x amount of DDRwhatever memory at XXX MHZ and with a XXX bit bus and so on. Uh, but exactly where is the memory? I only see a GPU there. Perhaps I am making a fool of myself here, but if it says "Dedicated" then I wouldn't expect it to take it from the system memory (is it?).
There's memory allocated elsewhere (near the chip), usually.
