You're right. I had to redraw the construction a couple times because Taffyta's head didn't quite look like it was over Vanellope's body. It still doesn't. Had I drawn the collar tilted down more it would have looked right.

It's just you seeing things/not knowing what you're looking at. The true "hips" is actually the greater trochanter of the femur, roughly the same level as the crotch. The yellow pivot points you drew are not pivot points at all, the crest of the pelvis.

the line for the legs you drew are wrong, the inner part isn't hollow, she has a candy cane in the cunt, but it's hardly visible and the line art makes it look like it's just the leg shape.
That whole hip area is definitely not very good, though. The artist probably didn't construct the whole model and just drew lines up to the image border, with little care for perspective and anatomy because his main focus was the pussy.

Not entirely happy with how this turned out. Some nasty ass color banding going on... but whatever.
