>>34495 >Goultard, who knew him the longest, calls him only Pipoun. And he doesn't protest in return - as is that was his name, changed later as it was embarrassing ;P
Is there any source actually confirming this, or is this just your personal headcanon?
Every entry I've written about Grovy refers to him by his official English name, "Sadlygrove", no nicknames or pet names or original French names. I also call boufbowl "gobbowl" in the episode guide for this same reason.
I don't get this entry. Grovy is only called "Pipoun" in one episode, far far into the series, and there are several turns of phrase in the bio that either concentrate on peripheral matters or just come across as weird. For example: "Pipoun is a typical Iop - bright, optimistic, craving for battle and something he calls "entering the legend" (a process otherwise known as winning the Darwin Award)." This last bit seems entirely superfluous.
Character entries should be structured for ease of reference, and focus exclusively on personality traits, the skills he contributes to the team and his relationships with particular individuals. There's a lot of description of Alibert, for instance, but the two barely knew each other. There are also a lot of spoilers for later episodes, and I'm not sure it's so safe to assume that he's a "typical Iop". We've met too few other Iops to make that sort of judgement, and it doesn't really tell us who he is. In my view, the personal opinion of the biographer should be kept to an absolute minimum. A lot of info in this article is debatable at best.
Thanks for putting it up, but I'm afraid it needs a lot of work.
