Local family-owned place, shit is so cash.

Typically, plainer is better, but when I'm in a topping mood, either barbecued meats or spinach.

Pepperoni and extra cheese. All the cheese.

Hello, Papa Tony's? Order for pickup please. Extra large, four cheese, the works, extra-thick peperoni, stuffed garlic crust, deep dish. Yes you bitch that is all one pie. Credit. Half an hour? Thanks!

My favorite pizza place would have to be Pizza Hut (I don't have many pizza places around ;_;), but the best pizza I've ever had is the Mama Cozzi's brand they sell at Aldi's.

Sausage. Sausage everywhere.

I actually can't stand it if there's too much cheese on my pizza. The pizzas at some places are hardly anything more than greasy clumps of disgusting. Best place is at home, making your own really thin crust and mashing the fresh tomatoes yourself. Best toppings are ground beef (when it gets crunchy on the top! OH GOD!), corn and onions, lots of onions. Bellpepper, feta cheese, jalapenos and salami are alright, too.

I have no idea why anyone made this thread
the best pizza ever is girodono's deep dish spinach pizza
anyone who says otherwise is a dirty liar

There's a pizza place called Buddy's Pizza in Detroit that has some seriously great pizza. They've won a ton of awards for it. It's a nice thick crust, some sort of cheese I can't identify and it's square and crispy on the edges and just so goddamn good. As for toppings, I prefer sausage, bacon, and onions.

cheese and then some more cheese on the cheese

MEAT

Marinate some chicken or pork in soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, lemon/lime/calamansi(!), and some sake overnight.

Barbecue it.

Filet it.

Cut it into pinky-fingernail size pieces.

Put back into marinade.

VEGGIES

Green bell pepper, cut into pinky-finger sized squares.
Handful of broccoli, cut very small (stems and all).
Black olives, sliced.
Mushrooms, sliced.
Habanero, diced finely.

CRUST

Pilsbury biscuits. Knead them into 1 unit and form into a crust.

Season half-way through kneading with cinnamon, nutmeg, chili powder, and salt. Add a handful of chopped red onions.

Put it on a non-perforated pizza pan you are willing to throw away.

SAUCE

Half marinara, quarter (thick) salsa (consider verde), quarter tomato paste. Add chopped celery and sugar.

Cook on medium until celery is done, then turn on low. Stir frequently.

CHEESE

Half manchego, half mozzarella. Well grated.

PLACEMENT

Pan (well oiled) --> crust --> meat (drain out of marinade, but make sure some gets on the crust) --> cheese --> veggies --> sauce

COOKING

Throw it on a hot grill with some hickory chips and pour a cup of water on the flame every so often, cover after pouring. Remove when cheese is melted and crust is crunchy.

THAT'S RIGHT, A BARBECUE-HICKORY-SMOKED UPSIDE-DOWN BISCUIT MEAT AND VEGGIES PIZZA. THEY CALLED ME CRAZY. I DARE YOU TO TRY IT.

PS: try it in the oven if you're a babby.

Fucking love this local place, Track Town? Kind of shitty sometimes, but goddamn, their pepperoni is spicy. Another place is Roaring Rapids, they make this shit with like, pesto sauce, bell peppers, and garlic cloves, and it is an ulcer's nightmare and the best thing to eat for ever.

I like anything and everything, but a classic pepperoni's always delicious.

Supreme, bbq chicken, etc.

Since everyone is choosing local places as their favorite (me included), I'll say Papa John's is my preferred chain.

There is a place a few blocks away called Brando's that used to be called Pesci's. They have a pizza that has shreeded chicken and three different cheeses on it, and hot sauce instead of pizza sauce. SO GOOD

It's been really hard to find good pizza since I moved away from Jersey. So many people in Maine (probably most, actually) don't know shit about pizza, or Italian food in general. Mall food courts seem to be a reliable source of decent pizza, but both the nearest malls are an hour away.
>> No. 4799
what is the best homemade crust recipe anyone can think of. Been getting tired of frozen and the franchises.

Just make a basic yeast dough.
