I'm just commenting about how cupcakes are everywhere.
It's a little over the top.

It's the cutesy food product du jour, overpriced and marketed to women who coo over tiny pink things.

Grilled cheese, on the other hand, is eternal.

I think 'food trends' are kind of silly and freaking everyone is making cupcakes to be all hip and cutesy and shit these days. However, it doesn't change the fact that cupcakes are fucking awesome. Mini cakes that people put twice as much frosting per portion than they would on a regular cake? Easy to pipe fillings into, experiment with flavors, and you can create delicious perfection by tossing a single mini reeses peanut butter cup in before you scoop in the filling. Fuck yeah.

grilled cheese just had a bad rap for too long. God knows why, it's freaking melted cheese on buttery toasted bread. Use good toasted sourdough, high-quality mozarella, a little apricot jam and a bit of arugula and it's all hip and gourmet and marketable as healthy to the Whole Foods crowd too, shit.
