No.8140
>>8137
Bestiality is sex with animals, as in a non-sapient species with an intelligence that is notably lower than that of humans. Extremely limited use of tools, no reflective capabilities (why are we here, meaning of life, that sort of thing).

Furries are (as far as I'm aware) always sentient and fairly humanoid in nature (pair of arms, legs, torso, head, spinal cord, standing upright, etc.), which places them about as far from actual animals as humans.

If furry porn is bestiality, then so is porn involving non-humans from Mass Effect, Star Wars and Gargoyles.

No.8141
>>8140
I guess... I guess my mistake is then that:
Pokemon are not furries, they are animals.
And that it's not furry porn then, it's bestiality porn.
...and that is not okay in my book.

No.8143
>>8141
Whether pokemon are animals or not is debatable. In the anime, the games and the manga in all its forms, we can see quite a lot of incidences where pokemon exhibit an intelligence that is similar to that of a human. Meowth from Team Rocket, for example, is human in every way except shape.

The main problem is communication between humans and their pokemon, since the vast majority are incapable of human speech. They seem to have no problem with understanding it, though, and some 'understanding' appears to be possible once a sufficiently strong bond between trainers and pokemon is formed (Ash can pretty much always understand what Pikachu is saying to him).

So yeah, it's not exactly a Black and White issue (pun somewhat intended).

No.8146

I thought the generally accepted rule was that it must both be anthropomorphic and sapient in order to be furry. A two-legged dog that just barks is bestiality, and a four-legged dog that talks is bestiality.

At least that's how I've come to understand it.

You musta started with Diamond and Pearl.

To be fair, Zekrom is at least decent by Gen 3 standards, but Reshiram is so backwards that it's ass is a vagina. Like, at this point you just know they're running out of ideas. We figured as much with Gen4's 5 well designed Pokemon, but this is just sad. So much of it's body seems to serve no purpose whatsoever. He looks like an 8th grader's scribble during Math class.

I like designs with a point. Mewtwo's abnormality (notice, no handwings or dicks), Mew's simplicity (it's form is ambiguous enough for it's link to all Pokemon to be reasonable), the Gen2 legendaries' regal majesty (Except for Celebi, which was a HURRDURR attempt at making a cute and marketable pokemon, and Lugia, a very bad attempt at making a parallel to Ho-oh that only worked because of it's simplicity.), and on and on... they all have points up until Gen4's lolrandum.

I think Zekrom and Reshiram may represent industry and Nature. Because Zeckrom looks pretty machine like and Reshiram looks like some sort of nature spirit or something. So maybe we're going to get some sort of industry moving into nature turf or something? I mean we've seen a cave and a forest, as well as a construction site of some sort, it isn't too far off, right?

that's actually an interesting idea there.
Personally, I'm thinking they're gonna go with a "Heaven and Hell" theme with the new games. Since Reshiram is all bright and angelic while Zekrom is more dark and demonic.

No.8266
>>8265
It really isn't all that demonic looking though, aside from its color being black.
- The wings/hands look like cog teeth
- The tail is a drill
- The general detailing is more steel-type and mewtwo looking than demonic

>As we posted yesterday, Reshiram's name comes from "shiro," which means "white" in Japanese, whereas Zekrom's comes from "kuro," which means "black." But as it turns out, the names also originate from the Japanese words "shiramu" and "kuromu," which mean "to grow light" and "to grow dark." Specifically, these words are used to refer to the sky becoming light and dark. Like we pointed out a few weeks ago, "hiun" in Hiun City's name can mean "clouds being blown by the wind." In addition to this, the bridge connected to Hiun City is named "Sky Arrow Bridge." So, we obviously have a sky theme going on in these two games in addition to the possible lightening or darkening of it. Thanks goes to Yaminokame for researching these name meanings.

Give us a sky fortress gym, Gamefreak.

Apparently Shoko-tan made a blog post about her upcoming role in the 13th movie, with an off-hand comment on how she loves the Electric type, and thus she was looking forward to getting Zekrom that was deleted quickly.
Deleted because she was wrong... or right??
