Submitted for your approval is this.

A young boy named Clark. Grows up in a small place called Small Town. He is a young and idealistic man. Living with his parents. Then one day something happens. A meteor crash lands in the fields outside his parent's home. He goes to investigate and finds a strange red and blue goo in a large smoking crater. As he observes it slowly transforms into something. Clark watches as the blue and red goop becomes the head of a Pokemon.

Slowly it begins to grow over time and becomes a completely new and strange Pokemon the people of Small Town have never seen. Since it only seems to respond to Clark the young boy looks out and decides that he wishes to use his new found Pokemon to help the world and become a Pokemon master in the process. Then he will found a new Pokemon league. It won't be easy however. He'll need to win over the Gym leaders across the world and convince them to join his Pokemon league.

The Gym leaders are as follows.

Bruce - The gym leader of Gotham City. Rich, hard and intelligent. Bruce proves to be a formidable opponent to Clark as he specializes in Dark, Ghost and the occasional flying type. Finding that Deoxys is weak against dark attacks as well as Bruce's almost complete knowledge of tactics and strategy makes him dangerous and powerful. His signature pokemon are a Cubone, a Golbat and a Natu that he calls Robin. He also apparently has a Houndoom on hand but he rarely uses it in battle.

Diana - Daughter of the actual Gym leader of Themyscira Island. Diana specializes in ground, fighting and some defensive types. She has trained her Pokemon to be expert fighters as such while they lack special moves they are devastating in hand-to-hand physical combat. Her signature pokemon are her Kangaskhan, Blaziken and a Wobbuffet.

Hal, Guy, John and Kyle - The gym leaders of Coast City. Four leaders of the famous Team Green. Hal has the highest level of the team as his pokemon is the most experienced. He has a Skarmory that he occasionally rides. John is the "power house" of the team in that his Metagross is probably the heaviest hitter of the team. Kyle has a Smeargul and while it isn't the most powerful he makes good use of it's Sketch ability and is by far the most creative of the team. Guy is essentially the "Cheap Shot" of the team. He has a whole lot of Pokemon at his disposal, isn't too keen on any of them and is perfectly willing to use a multitude of cheap attacks to see you go down.

Barry - The Gym Leader of Central City. Prof Barry is famous for his top of the line pokemon center and his experiments with Electric and bug type Pokemon. His protege Wally is hoping to become a Gym leader himself. They're both known for having various pokemon on hand like Ninjask, Pikachu, Jolteon, and various others. Mysteriously Prof Barry seems to only select and breed Pokemon with an incredibly high speed.

Arthur - The leader of the gym for an experimental under-sea city. Arthur trains various water pokemon and has an energetic and go-to attitude toward life and adventure. His Pokemon include Kingler, Seaking, Wailord and Kingdra.

John - The gym leader of Apex city. John is an astronomer who studies the origins of Pokemon and theorizes they come from outerspace. His main (and only) Pokemon is a Ditto. One who he has trained to such phenomenal effect that he can copy almost any Pokemon in the world.

Lex - The final Gym Leader of Metropolis City. Lex is a ruthless and powerful Gym leader with unlimited genetics research at his disposal. His Pokemon are all indestructible powerhouses with some of them reaching almost legendary levels and beyond. Lex is a paranoid madman who fears and despises all that he cannot control. The power of Clark's Deoxys frightens him. And he is almost 100% positive that the pokemon Clark claims to be good is most certainly a menace that he will not be happy with unless it is destroyed or put under proper restraints.

Comments? Ideas? Suggestions? I'm all for it.

Darkrai fits better. Darkrai being a dark-type is much more appropriate for a Doomsday-type, seeing as Deoxys is Psychic (although you'd think a space virus would be Poison)

I like this list.

There should be a recurring joke where almost every female character mentions Dick in their conversation at one point or other. Just because... You know.

No.19888
>>19887

Only problem I see here is that Dick looks to be in his early/late teens and Bruce is at least 10-13 years old.

Doesn't make sense to have Dick be so old in there unless this is an image of the epilogue (after the new Pokemon league is founded).

Oh. Shit. I forgot about that. Wait, so is Bruce a prodigy? What are the ages for everyone anyway? I might've missed that somewhere in the thread.

No.19891

From the sound of the original thread Tim. Clark/Diana and Bruce are all roughly the same age in the young teen area. I think the only person who's confirmed to be older than any of them are Barry, Arthur and John.

We don't actually have any ages for them but since Clark is our "Ash" and it's cannon that Clark, Bruce and Diana are all basically the same age then I think it's safe to say that they're gonna be 10-13 years old.

I kind like the fact that Dick is older than Bruce. It changes the whole Bruce and Dick dynamic with bruce as the young master that acts too serious while having a teen protege that more of a kid than him.

I was thinking that Bruce and the rest of the trainers in his gym wear mask out of respect of the guy who was the first gym leader in Gotham, either Alan Scott, The Gray Ghost, or The Shadow.

So I was thinking about the various Teams based off the Lantern Corps and the gym leaders and all, and found that they're surprisingly adaptable to the Pokemon-verse without having to create new stuff. This is what I came up with so far-

Bruce Wayne, 15 year old leader of the Gotham City gym, wasn't always such a brooding young boy. For his fifth birthday, his parents gave him a lonely Cubone and the two became inseparable. Cubone helped Bruce overcome his shyness when the accident occurred with his parents. Because of this incident, Bruce has a fierce disdain for Ghost-type Pokemon. Cubone could not handle the powerful Gengar, his attacks phasing through the Ghost type, when a Golbat showed up and helped Bruce. using it's superior speed and it's Dark-type 'Crunch' attack, Bruce and the Golbat were able to defeat the Gengar. Since then the Golbat has evolved into a blindingly fast Crobat, but keeps it's 'Crunch' attack. Bruce has also since acquired a highly loyal Mightyena and a Gallade. He uses a superb amount of strategy in his battles, switching Pokemon constantly. His defeat earns [you] the Knight Badge and TM56- Fling.
(For a bit more back story, Bruce's main rival is Jack Napier, a psychopathic Pokemon trainer who had his skin bleached and hair turned green in an odd accident. He uses the very same Gengar that led to the death of Bruce's parents, a Bannette and a Rotom that seems to be just as mad as Jack, constantly changing it's form into various household appliances and shocking nearly everyone and everything within range)

Next is the fierce female gym leader of Themiscyra Island, 16-year-old Diana Prince. She specializes in offensive powerhouses, much the opposite of the cunning and deceitful Bruce (that is not to say that Diana herself does not strategize). When she was 11 she was given an Chimchar by her mother. Chimchar has since grown into an astonishing fighter as Infernape, using his superb speed to overwhelm his opponents. Second in her arsenal is the only Pokemon on her team not known for attack- her mighty Aggron. A physical wall of rock and steel, Diana's Aggron is able to take some of the hardest blows and come out relatively unscathed, but is still no slouch when it comes to attack power either. Also on her team is the superpower Pokemon Machoke and a rare Gabite (who will later evolve into Garchomp). Clark and his lone Deoxys cannot handle the overwhelming force of Diana's Pokemon's attacks, and so Deoxys "levels up" and unlocks his Defensive form. With this form, Deoxys is able to withstand any and all attacks Diana's Pokemon throw at it, whittling down there stamina, and striking when they're at their most tired/weakest. Her defeat earns [you] Clark the Amazon Badge and TM31- Brick Break.
(A bit of her fluff/background is that her main rival- a diminutive 8-year-old girl named Doris Zeul who uses massive Pokemon such as Snorlax, Slaking, Hariyama and Steelix)

After her comes the Underwater Test Facility which can only be accessed by diving down from the center lake of the tiny island above it. This facility is protected by Arthur Curry who was born with the ability to read the thoughts and emotions of Pokemon. As a result, he only owns two Pokemon- Kingdra and a Ditto named Platelet that can only transform into water-type Pokemon. Aside from these two, Arthur will 'ask' the various Pokemon that live around the facility for their help in any battles he may find himself in. Arthur's defeat earns [you] the Atlantis Badge and the simple yet effective TM03- Water Pulse.
(The head scientist at the Facility is the slightly mad- and going madder- Professor Qwsp, who uses all three evolutions of Porygon. Arthur's main rival is his jealous half-brother Orm Marius who failed to inherit Arthur's gift. Still, Orm is a highly skilled trainer, utilizing a Gyarados, Milotic and Kingler in Pokemon battles to astonishing effect)

After Arthur, the hero will eventually find himself in Coast City. Coast City is a unique place, having it's own police force (known as Team Green ) and other colour-based Teams located there. The leader of the Gym, Alan Scott, is currently nowhere to be found. After asking around, you will find his four "deputies" in various places- help them and they'll help you find Alan Scott. (In no specific order) First there is Guy Gardner, a hot-headed Pokemon trainer who prefers to just go all out offensive, using his sole Scyther in battle. Help him defeat the Coordinators Fire and Ice (using Flareon and Glaceon, respectively) and he'll tell you where to find Kyle Rayner.
Kyle is in his art studio and has a serious case of artists block. After a quick conversation and witnessing Deoxys, Kyle decided to battle Clark using his ingenius Smeargle- a Pokemon with the power to copy any other move it sees. After a fierce battle (Clark having to come up with some unique strategy to overcome the oddball Smeargle) Kyle sits down to begin drawing, his mind full of new ideas, and he tells you where to find John Stewart.
John is currently overseeing the construction of a new school in downtown Coast City where he grew up. At first John merely brushes you off, but after Deoxys saves one of the workers from being crushed by a falling support girder, opts to let his shiny Skarmory spread it's wings. John and Skarmory use precision and ranged attacks to defeat their opponent, but once defeated, John will give up the location of Hal Jordan.
Hal is where he's always at- the local airfield with his girlfriend/fiance Carol Danvers. Hal, always looking for a good match, will jump at the chance to battle a Pokemon as unique as Deoxys. At this point Clark can choose to battle Hal's Flygon by himself or go against Hal and Carol's Espeon at the same time. Either way, loss or win, Hal will offer the location of his mentor and leader Alan Scott after the battle.
Alan Scott, an aged man that jokes and laughs as if he were still a college kid, will be found in the middle of Coast City's park playing with his extremely powerful Tyranitar as well as teaching some kids the basics of life, Pokemon, being a trainer, and similar ideas. Though a one-vs-one battle, Tyranitar's power is daunting, even for a Pokemon as unique as Deoxys. Once defeated, though, Alan will commend you no a job well done and offer up the Lantern Badge as well as TM75- Swords Dance.
(Team Orange consists solely of one man, who came across a hidden cache of defunct Master Balls. These Master Balls were so powerful that they could catch any Pokemon, even ones all ready caught by another trainer. These balls are easily recognized by their orange colouring and the orange- rather than red- light they emit when opening.
Team Red is full of beserker Pokemon trainers who prefer the most powerful Pokemon possible rather than caring, loving trainers or using any kind of strategy. All their Pokemon know Rage and either Toxic, Acid, or Will-o-Wisp to simulate the face melting acidic blood of the Rage Lanterns. They are led by a man who uses a Charizard to devastating effect in battle, as well as a Weezing.
Team yellow is led by a man who uses the creepiest, spookiest Pokemon with particularly nasty movesets. his most notable Pokemon is his Hypno, which knows the moves Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Nightmare, and Psychic.
Team Violet prefers the 'cute' type of Pokemon, all of which know two or three of the following moves: Attract, Charm, Sweet Kiss, Captivate and Flatter. they prefer to annoy more than outright attack or defend, making it very difficult to actually do damage to them.
Team Blue has less than 5 members, but to have one on your side in a double-battle is a godsend. Alone, their Pokemon aren't much to contend with, lacking any true offensive attacks. However, they make great clerics for teams, and don't mind passing off stat raises to their partners Pokemon. If they are caught in battle by themselves, they will almost always use the Plusle/Minun combo.
Team Indigo uses the stat-raising tactic of Team Blue, but unlike Blue, Indigo members have several offensive and/or defensive types in their party)

Continuing

After Coast City, Clark then moves on to find himself in the twin cities of Central and Keystone. there, two gym leaders are present, each governing one of the towns. Though they have separate gyms, one must defeat both in order to gain the Flash Badge and the powerful move Extremespeed (a deviation from the normality of Gym Leaders giving away TM's, as defeating both Barry Allen and Wally West will prompt either of them to teach one Pokemon Extremespeed just once). Both of them have some the fastest Pokemon you will ever witness, Barry himself primarily using an Electrode, and Wally a Jolteon (though they do have a couple others on their team). Due to their astonishing speed, Deoxys will have to unlock his Speed form in order to outrun and manage a hit on the speedster Pokemon.
(rather than have one rival each, Barry and Wally have a group of 'Rogues' led by Leonard Snart, who uses a Weavile, Glalie, and a Mamoswine. Then there's Evan McCulloch who uses a Scizor, Empoleon and a Bronzong. Digger Harkness uses a pair of Marowaks. The "Weather Wizard" martk Mardon uses a rather gimmicky Castform that knows Weather Ball, Hail, Sunny Day, and Rain Dance. Finally, James Jesse, who's only Pokemon is a rather odd Mr. Mime)

Following the speedsters comes another unique city. Mars Town, oddly enough, lies within a dormant volcano. The only entrance is to either fly in through the rim or navigate through the labyrinthine tunnels. The town gym leader, a John Jones, has an intense phobia regarding fire, but seems to find a sort of peaceful tranquility in the now-dead volcano crater. John, specializing in Psychics, uses four Pokemon with surprising amounts of skill- a Ditto that can transform into 300 different Pokemon, a super-powerful Alakazam, the aquatic Slowking and a single Wobbuffet. Defeating John earns you the Martian Badge and TM04- Calm Mind.

After defeating the powerful John Jones, Clark finds himself in Marvel Falls- a town founded by and dedicated to an almost forgotten hero "Captain Marvel." The gym leader in this town is allowed to take on that very same title, honouring the man who fought for the village when it was first starting out. This gym leader uses a full team of six at once, using a superb and one-of-a-kind battle strategy. Using a Blissey, Slaking, Steelix, Aerodactyl, Gengar and a Dusknoir all simultaneously, any battle with Captain Marvel will be long and eventful. Eventually, Deoxys gets his final (and possibly best) form unlocked- Attack form. Using this new addition, as well as quick thinking and impressive tactics, Clark defeats Marvel and earns the Shazam Badge and TM59- Dragon Pulse.

Now Clark is ready to take on the final gym leader, who is none other than Giovanni Lex Luthor. Lex, borderline psychotic and terrified of Deoxys, has long since built himself a super-powerful team of Pokemon. This team includes
Metagross- Meteor Mash, Explosion, Psychic, Thunderpunch
Garchomp- Earthquake, Dragon Claw, Swords Dance, Stone Edge
Salamence- Dragon Pulse, Flamethrower, Dragon Dance, Aerial Ace
Tyranitar- Earthquake, Dragon Dance, Stone Edge, Crunch
Dragonite- Outrage, Dragon Dance, Superpower, Thunderbolt
Electrivire- Thunderpunch, Ice Punch, Cross Chop, Meditate
His defeat reveals him as a criminal and various other bonuses, as well as the Kryptonite Badge as well as TM26- Earthquake.

Now it's time for the Elite Four, which I think should be stylized after Doomsday (heavy defensive rock and steel types), Amazo (Porygons evolutions, a high level Ditto, maybe a Kecleon), Magog (who will use Mewtwo), Brainiac (Psychic/Dark/Ghost) and Darkseid as Champion (Origin Form Giratina)

I actually have no problem with Tim being older than Bruce. The whole point of Batman is that he's hooked on this one event in his childhood that shapes his entire career and "adult" life, and I don't know how many times it's been mentioned that he has the emotional stability (or whatever) of a child.
