Let's hope Stallone doesn't fuck this movie up (despite the ensemble cast), like he did the last one.
I assume over half of the budget went towards recruiting these guys.

Ultimate cameo appearance: SEAN CONNERY!
Just give him a mysterious eye-patch wearing role like Heston in True Lies. C'mon, he's so old he's gonna die soon, don't let his last screen appearance be Allan Quatermain. He deserves better than that! 30 seconds detailing the mission is enough. Pretty pleeease?

The movie was boring. It had a good number of ingredients to make an action movie but it almost never fucking sets anything off. And including fatty judo Seagal might make it even more boring if they let him make any stupid anger management jokes. Here's an idea that will never be made cause I'm just a nobody and Sean "enjoys retirement":
Sean Sonnery's final screen appearence should be in the next Bond movie, where he tells Craig that he too was once a 007 agent under the codename James Bond, and that he was the first in the 00 program, and Craig would not be the last.

Whaddya think? No seriously? I can't think of any other better finale for such a legend.

I think it's a neat idea, but at the same time I don't want them to actually do that just because it would sort of ruin the mystique of the whole Bond thing.

There should be no conceivable way to fuck up this movie besides making a T rated 80s action flick. You have almost every possible western action star who has starred in more action films then there are lights in the night sky, a shit ton of guns and a plot I still don't really understand.

You better not fuck this one up.

The first one had great promise and poor results. Mainly, the action was poorly filmed and there was too little of it. The stupid plot didn't matter, no one watched it for that.

I sure as hell hope they up the production value on fight scenes for this one; I'll probably see it regardless for the adrenaline rush.

Oh it needed plot, not ground breaking shit but just another reason why we should care about whatever was going down or who anyone was. You know, the story to every Clint Eastwood film ever? If he was directing this I would have probably at least cared about whoever was doing what.

It still needs to not commit the most atrocious sin of not having any action this time, but I think a lot of 1's problems would have been fixed if they let Clint ghost write the script.

wuh? i'm still going to disagree. in the first one you have Mila and M.Rod action girling it up. some people (other than you) like that/them. there's a freaking laser halallway for god sake! RE2 had more of less of the same as the first film + comedy from Mike Epps. the third one was, admittedly, pretty boring up until the end and i haven't seen the last one yet

hell, truth be told, most modern movies made (outside of direct to video) in this day and age for a given genera aren't shitty at all. they can be bad, but that's not the same as shitty

I finally did, yesterday.

And man it was AWESOME! Explosions, fan service injokes ahoy, Chuck Norris (his first scene had me in stitches), badassness and catchphrases all over the place, a heavily awesome cast with everyone having their moments, old school end-of-action-movie battles, none of the bland look of the CGI-heavy movies of nowadays. Totally worth it.
