The thing is, that made more sense when the PS3 was backwards-compatible (which was eventually removed, but this wasn't known when it was in development.) The PS4 was never backwards compatible, so they're going to lose out on a lot more sales because of this unless they're planning to release it through PSN as well (which is likely, but they would probably still have to retool it for PS4.)

I was considering the gaming public's eagerness to upgrade, but the lack of backwards-compatibility will likely damper PS4/Xbone adoption more than in prior generations, as well.

Have you guys heard of the Persona 4 Musical Fan Project? The songs it made are a little rough around the edges since they're mostly demos, but there are some pretty standout examples among the tracks. I'd recommend listenting to the Shadow Rise song, "Idols gone Wild," and Izanami's villain song, "Prove to Me."

Once you get a bit lucky with a few shuffles in P4G and get a skill you really shouldn't have that early in the game, it completely snowballs out of control and you start being totally overleveled for everything, thanks to the frequency of you being able to slay multiple golden hands in. Boss fights tend to be over in less than 5 turns. This is the crew I'm rocking as I'm about to go after Adachi. He won't even know what hit him.

In other news, Sony threw up Raidou 1 and Nocturne on PSN for 10 bucks each, I grabbed the former. Considered rebuying the latter (I had to sell my copy for emergency money right after I beat Thor and apparently was about to meet Dante) but man as cool as Nocturne is, it's not very fun to play.

Raidou seems neat from what I've seen so far. Combat's kind of clunky but it isn't frustrating me and MAN THESE JAMS.

They could make the Marie thing work though. The makings of a good story are there, the climax is well written (the part where the fog parts and Marie sees all of Inaba was quite sweet), as is the beginning, but the middle section with the awkwardly done interactions with the IT was where it suffered; this poor set-up harmed its conclusion as it's where the emotional payoff was supposed to happen. Again, I don't think the concept of the character is unsalvageable, it could very well benefit from the efforts of this slightly tweaked creative team.

But enough of that. Time for Dance!
