I liked the Crusaders new song but otherwise I was pretty bored with this episode. But I'm hyped for the superhero themed episode, that should tons of fun.

They always strike me as episodes geared toward younger viewers. Strange thing to think of a show actually having that but I feel that is part of why MLP works so well that it can gear itself to different age groups without breaking too much.

I'll double on that controversy for ya. Hub itself has/is becoming a very forward going network and I've got an itch in the back of my head as I've said that some show is going to hit a certain topic next year. FiM is possibly one of the strongest that could broach the issue and handle it well. Also keeps from bringing in any unnecessary weight.

As for Bee Ratchet could have fixed Bee at certain points, he was just attached to his own voice and Ratchet was not in a Cybertronian Medical Facility to undertake such an operation. With Scoots, they've still yet to really hit on addressing her disability directly.

So does the fact that daring do writes her own books retcon the comics? In the comics it was implied twilight velvet wrote the books, though this could have just been price having fun with the backgrounds and wasn't in the script. I like to think maybe velvet wrote a licensed spin off or something though we don't know if the comics are canon or not (I hope they are. They're great)

Shipping aside I'm impressed at how quick people have taken to SFM for pony stuff. Modeling and Rigging all that together (dat grass, dem birds), impressive work for a program that hasn't been available to the general public for very long. Heh, and better kissing then the usual Bioware face smashing, actually focusing on it instead of a quick cut. Models made to actually interact, fascinating.

Yea I can see that with AJ mainly due mostly to her ties to family and how important a relationship would be to her. Close second would be Dash due to her own independent loner nature that we've started to seen her branch out a little both with taking Scoot under her wing and taking Tank as a pet and becoming comfortable with allowing others to get close to her. I can see why the crew may give a wink n nod to that pairing.

Hope we get a convention set of them. I liked the little touches, hey look a fantastic grasp of using constructs. And I liked the way
AJ had her mane and tail bound. Just the handling of superpowers in this episode makes me wish Warner Bros could somehow break free and let Hub produce something. Oh next time we need to see thier secret identities.
