So far I've seen a bunch of High School AU fanarts with Hancock and Luffy as students, but if you ask me she works much better as a teacher. Don't Stand So Close to Me and all that.Anyway, I have no idea what the point of this thread is. That's your job.
Do we really need a shipping thread though... maybe to keep it all contained, yes?
>>496Let me start off by complaining that Oda made a high school AU already, why does the fandom have to reinvent it it's just so pointless Luffy was adorable with that waxed combover so why change it ARGHSecondly, I agree wholeheartedly with Hancock teacher, and the point of this as a shipping thread. I'll mention that my favorite one-on-one pairing will always be Robin and Franky, but I'm not only okay with mix and matching the Strawhat pairings, I fully endorse it.
>>505>>506I wanted to start a shipping thread earlier, but I couldn't find a pic that I liked enough to start it. I think that I was looking for this one, which is a rather impressive edit.>>512Fool, don't you realize that no amount of high school AU will ever be enough for any fandom?
>>518WE HAVE A CANON AU WHY NOT USE THAT FFFFFARRRRGHHBALRALBALKABLAGKAJKDKSLJFS
>>527Well, I guess because the official one is driven more by the Rule of Funny than anything else. I mean, from a logical standpoint Franky and Robin would be faculty members rather than students and everyone would behave a lot more like they do normally rather than being 100% stereotypical troublemakers (or bookworms, in Luffy's case).Anyway, preventing thread derailment with a not-sure-if-want OTP.
>>529:D at that pairing. It's like watching Luffy and Blackbeard during their eating contest.
Soooooo unexpected.
>>533The idea of Perona crushing on Zoro is cavity-inducingly cute.
>>529what do you mean "not shure if want"? That shits gonna be so kinky it can't be anything but "DO WANT!"
>>533>>561Zoro's face only makes this ship more adorable. I wonder how the hell he'll get away from Perona to rejoin his crew.
>>577In my ideal world as someone who'd like to see more of Perona, she comes with.
Does ANYONE else like this or is it just me?
>>649Are you serious. There's hella LuNa fans here, if I remember correctly.

>>715Favoritest pairing in the ever...
>>649Personally, that's my preferred Nami ship, but I don't object to her and Zoro either. Also, I could see Nami being a total gold digger if it weren't for the fact that she takes care of all the money the crew comes across. Also, this doujin is adorable as fuck.http://www.fakku.net/viewonline.php?id=2399
Luffy's too stupid/ focused on ADVENTURE to have a girlfriend. But then again Luffy is BFF with his entire crew. Literally, Luffy treats his entire crew as equal BFF's for life. Any other concept is alien.
>>819Yeah, and Hancock's just a groupie.Though perhaps the first person to really go up to Luffy and approach him directly with the entire concept might be the one to walk home a winner.
>>820That's exactly how I imagine it going down. Nami confesses her feelings and he's just "Buh?"......Then she has to sit him down and explain what love is.I think it's adorable, shut up.
This is for you.
Highschool AU, eh?
>>1036>>1037Where's pervy teacher Brook? You can't have a HSAU without Brook telling students that he would like to see their panties!
>>1040PTA :(
>>1362Oh nonsense, Oda, we're all just having fun!
>>1362For some reason, I like the idea of Franky and Robin getting all flirty and then all of a sudden, "Mr. Eiichiro would like to see you in his office."And then they're standing in front of his desk looking kinda bashful and he's like, "You know my policies on workplace relationships."
>>1368But he's not being hardnosed boss, either, he's being all "C'mon, guys, work with me here, okay? We're all a team in this manga, let's work together and make it the best darn shonen manga in the world!"And then they get all pumped up and and and...I may need to make a full-blown story out of this.
Now this is all sweet and all until you start to realize that Luffy looks kind of unconscious and in all likelihood Hancock slipped him a roofie.
>>1668A Monkey D. Roofie?
>>1674DO HO HO HO!
>>1674/golfclap
I find this sweet, and the closest thing there is to being a canon one involving the Strawhats.
One thing I've seen around occasionally in fanart is Doflamingo x Tsuru. Or, well, Doflamingo -> Tsuru. It's a funny dynamic.
>>1035 I love this set of pictures!
>>1765
>>496 >>1035 *typed with head so far back I am not even looking at the monitor* Highschool AU's are a cancer upon a fandom created by the talentless and unimaginative!...getting that out of the way, I still have a burning need to share stuff I find whenever I get the chance so here you go.
>>1781
>>1782 There's another page but it's pretty much just Naruto characters.
I can see where the LuffyxNami, LuffyxRobin, even the LuffyxZoro people are coming from, but the most realistic pairing in this romanceless One Piece universe is Luffy and Boa.She's clearly shown more feelings and dedication to Luffy than anyone else. I mean, nothing says "I really love you" like helping the break-in to the world's most infamous and dangerous prison.
>>1785 No, don't do that, don't go starting an actual debate about shipping.
How dare they think for a second that DonFABULOUS Donflamingo would lower himself with a woman?
>>1785 Because of being a mentally unstable older woman due to intense trauma suffered in her youth she has latched on to the first young man who showed her such kindness and stood up to the ones that hurt her. It's kind of creepy and has been treated as a joke so far by Oda.They might end up together in the end in a sorta chichi/goku epilogue way but I'm not certain if that will be the case.Luffy x Harem is the only worthy ship for Luffy D. Monkey anyway.
>>1789Also he's the only man whom she couldn't turn to stone. I don't blame her necessarily for latching on to him, either. Luffy is a pretty special guy, in the good way.
>>1789It's good to be the king.
>>1793 True Dat
Zoro/Luffy/Nami works pretty well, in my opinion. Luffy and Zoro have this great dynamic, but neither of them could ever initiate anything. Nami, on the other hand, is much more proactive about this sort of thing. She has her reasons to want Luffy, and given her acquisitive personality she probably wouldn't mind Zoro as a muscular bonus. Luffy would just be happy to be special friends with his special friends; the boy is virtually drama-proof when it comes to these things. If you want to be nerdy about it, Zoro and Luffy have chemistry and Nami is an enzyme.
>>1840Genome, that joke alone makes me want to ship it.
>>1844She lowers their energy of activation! In her active site.
>>1840Y'know, honestly, outside of Frank/Robin, I rarely ever think of romance between the Strawhats in terms of anything involving relationships. They're a bunch of teenagers on a fucking boat. All the time. So any romance would just be a case of "Hey, I'm horny, your horny, we're not doing anything better at the moment, let's fuck." I mean, you'd have to do some explaining of how things work to Luffy, but I think he'd get the basic idea rather quickly. The only ones I don't see getting their freak-on are Chopper and Brook, because Chopper would just be wrong and Brook doesn't have genitals (I think...). Usopp might be holding out for Kaya, though I could see Nami luring him in by teasing that even if Kaya put out, he'd have no idea what to do.
>>1847 Eh I don't see Nami trying to seduce Usopp,he might give a good nosefuck but he's not the top pick of what she has on offer even when the crew is stuck in the middle of the ocean..
>>1848Yeah, good point.
>>1847and Chopper/Robin is AWESOME
>>1847>They're a bunch of teenagers on a fucking boat. All the time. So any romance would just be a case of "Hey, I'm horny, your horny, we're not doing anything better at the moment, let's fuck."i.e, this story's plot: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5109232/1/Boredom
Bah Zoro's too busy playing with his swords to have sex. He'd say it would weaken the blade or some such.
>>1853And on this vital point, we disagree.
>>1848 Well who really is?*Luffy is nice, goodlooking, a hero who's saved her from her lowest moments, but he's also a semi-asexual rubberman idiot, how would she communicate her intentions to him? Would he really go that far, and if he did how much work would it take?*Zoro, also goodlooking and buff and odds-on has the most 'stamina', but he seems even less interested in sex than luffy who at least has peeked on her along with everyone else and shown a reaction, maybe he'd even be suspicious about her trying to trick more money out of him*Ussop... moving on...*Sanji! Sanji's handsome and athletic, and all about the pretty ladies right? yeah, too much, I don't see him being able to Serious Up enough, and you know things are going to get awkward the morning after and from that point on.*I'm not even going to mention Franky, Brook or Chopper...
>>1792That's just hilarious>>1037Is that Hina? Whose pants is she holding? That said, I feel kind of bad to admit it but I ship Sanji x Nami. It seems so weird to me that Sanji gets the least shipping, maybe it's due to the fact that in Japanese media, the one who flirts the most tends to get the least. Hell, it seems to be that way in most ANY media.
>>1867 Alot of that guy's work is hilarious but also seriously messed-up.And you caused me to choose this example haha.
>>1847Yeah, I like "teenagers on a boat" scenarios, but I also like to suspend disbelief and think about how romance would work between the characters. I'm gay like that.Incidentally, your statement also summarizes what I think Luffy's approach to sex would be like. Since he's completely oblivious about it, after he discovers it he wouldn't view it in the same way most people do (i.e. something totally awesome and yet somehow dirty). He'd be like, "This is a fun thing to do with [sexual partner(s)], and it makes [sexual partner(s)] happy, so I enjoy it!" Assuming this isn't a "free love" scenario, someone would probably have to explain that it's not something you go around doing with everyone you like.>>1857For the purposes of shipping, I like to imagine Zoro as thinking something like that but actually being deeply sexually frustrated, which would of course be played up for laughs as much as possible."Whoops, dropped my hat!""PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF">>1867Ain't no shame in that! Plenty of cute fanart out there. Pic related.
>>1871 Didn't Oda say that Luffy was a 'healthy young man' in the SBS in regards to a question about this stuff?I think he may know what the term 'sex' means and related subjects, he's not been raised in the wilds away from people like Goku was.
>>1872Well, that's good to know. He's less likely to be raped by some random badguy that way.Oh God I had forgotten all about that fanfic why.
>>1857I've recently started shipping Zoro/Perona, but only in the basis of Zoro just going with the flow. Like, he just puts up with her being all lovey-dovey and huggy and all that stuff. She's floating around, introducing him to everyone as her boyfriend and he just goes "BOYFRIEND?! ............ Ugh... Yeah, okay..."
>>1872This is why I need to read more of the SBSs
>>1872Yeah , he's blunt but not ignorantNEVER thinks about the stuff on his own.But I'm sure if Boa were to just out right tell him "FUCK ME NOW!" he'd be on that
>>1882Hancock is far too much of a lady to put it in such crass terms, though. She'd probably use some kind of romantic, poetic term for sex that Luffy would misinterpret to mean something else entirely (probably food-related).
>>1884That and she'd practically give herself an aneurysm halfway through the sentence. She's like a giant evil Hinata.
>>1885>She's like a giant evil Hinata.Liking Hancock as a character is becoming SO HARD.
>>1875I hope you remember that fanfictionI want to read it
>>1886Do we need to start this again?
>>649 You are not alone.
>>1888I don't and you don't.It also involved Luffy disguising himself as a woman to seduce Sanji into returning to the crew.
>>1888What... fanfiction...?
>>1899It was supposed to be for >>1874
Hey SaNa shippers, I have a question: are they into pegging?
>>1916As long as Nami's into it, Sanji will ALWAYS say yes.
>>1937That's what I thought.
this used to be my OPOTP.
>>1789I think too the kings disposition helps. Kinda like Eneru, unlike most, when he talked about being the pirate k ing, she probably believed it right off (he can resist her charms, has the uberpowr she has, and is ridiculously strong)Not only is he kind and awesome, he's actually in her league as far as she's concerned. Pirate King, Pirate Empress, good match right? As far as she's concerned, nobody else out there has at once the strength, the appeal, the mentality (cause you know she'd never trust a mariane), and the standing. She's hopelessly in love for life. But at least she can pine happily after all. They were "married."
I don't ship in OP, but some of the art is way too awesome to not save.
You know, despite the LuNa subtext, the Drum Kingdom arc made me ship NaVi more than anything else. Every other time one of them speaks it's about how worried they are about the other one. Like a Strawships, all evidence of romance can and will be disregarded as hardcore friendship, but still.
>>2016>like all Strawshipsfix'd
>>LuNa subtext-That seems to happen in alot of arcs. I guess that's why it's got so many shippers.Like the part this image here is from. Nothing outwardly couply or romantic but it still gives the shipping-inclined lots of fuel to get themselves fired up.I can understand it more than some other ships I've heard are popular. Zoro/Nami is pretty big in Japan right?
>>2018The Arlong Arc was what did it for me.
>>2020 2nd (tho it was only a small interest at that point an it was the other stuff happening as well that put more life into it)
>>2018
>>2025>Rufi
>>2045Must be an old translation.
If anybody's got any cute Camie and Hatchan fanart, I'd like to see it. Camie's crush is incredibly adorable.
>>2074 Is there any out there? NOt been able to find any personally.
>>2075Dunno. I mean, I hope so, but I really don't know if anyone's ever done anything for it.
I know Onepiece-shipping is terrible and wrong but I can't help myself...
>>2078FACT: I have been tempted to write a fic in which future!Luffy has a son, just because it would allow me to describe some random enemies boarding the Thousand Sunny, kidnapping the kid, and Luffy responding with "GIMME BACK MY SON! GET OFF MY BOAT!"I may never stop making Harrison Ford jokes.
>>2078Baldercrap! Embrace it! Make it your own!
>>2029Huh. Usopp and sexy just don't seem to combine very well.
>>2084Excuse me, but have you SEEN his hair? The dude's got some awesome hair.
>>2085. . .Why So RIPPED?
>>2085 Yeah. Maybe if he gets a nosejob.>>2029 You'd be risking losing an eye just to make out with him.
>>2087Running like hell.
The great thing about Frobin is that there are lots of different ways to approach their relationship. For starters, there's the "Team Mom and Dad" aspect, which Oda confirmed himself. Though they're not quite as nurturing as you'd expect, Robin has a certain maternal authority to her and Franky is pretty much THE big goofy dad. Then there's their shared crisis: the World Government fucked their lives over, and then they both end up captured by the CP9. They're the first two Strawhats who had a common enemy (Spandam) connected to their pasts. That's the sort of mutual hardship that can bring people together. They definitely have the "complementary personalities" angle covered. He's crass, loud, and emotional, while she's intellectual, refined and morbid. She's embarrassed by his shenanigans, and he's unnerved by her grim observations. And yet, they get along just fine. There's also this vibe I pick up from them, especially in some fanart, that I can't quite describe. It's like, "We're the only real adults on this ship, we both like each other, and life is too short not to make something of this." It's hard to put into words without sounding like either destined romance or circumstantial fucking. And of course, you can't deny that they are the definition of a power couple. They beat up marines and zombies together, they have fun doing it, and they're good at doing it. Who needs candlelit dinners and nights at the opera when you and your lady can do some synchronized ass whooping?Of course, all of this can also be viewed as hardcore nakamance (trademark), which is its own kind of awesome.
>>2108And then there's that whole Russian American thing.
>>2109Also, there's the whole 'fuck the reasons for why because it's totally hot' thing.
Yo, Nami, I'm really happy for you, and Imma let you finish, but I just got to say Hancock is the best flasher of all time! OF ALL TIME!
>>2116Actually, that makes a lot of sense.
>>2116Oda, you clever bastard.
>>2116 Doesn't make it any less messed up.
>>2139>>2140Something that also greatly helps is remembering that Luffy's not so good with names. Mero Mero beam sounds an awful lot like an attack directed at him earlier with a certain Foxy fellow. Since he was expecting to get hit with something that would hurt him, the beam couldn't affect him like other characters who are unsuspecting when she shoots a heart-shaped beam at their face.
>>2143But would it still make a differance if she tried the meromero on him at any other time? Anyway he still seemed pretty asexual when she got her kit off later one to show him her back, he was all like "what there's no food? boring...".
>>2148>>2116I like Oda's answer. While Luffy may act a little rambunctious with people his own age, at heart, he's really a honest, heartfelt individual. When he's on his own he just doesn't really think about "that kind of stuff."
<3 P.S. OTP rise frome your grave
>>4454Much love for scruffylookin' King Luffy.
Bros > ho's
>>4455Trying not to d'aww to this is hard mode for me. Honestly though Luffy & Hancock is the one pairing I want to see happen even if Oda has explicitly told us "fuck no" in regards to pairings and romance in general.
You know, I like that Oda doesn't want mushy stuff in his hotblooded boys' adventure, but I can't help but think that going on this massively fun around-the-world madcap adventure with someone would be pretty much the best way to fall in love ever.
>>4679 Eh still pretty squicky. It would actually be less so if she was more mature for an older woman but...she isn't...
Not enough Boa Hancock in this thread...
I ship MomongaxHancock:(
>>4693BUT... BUT YOU KNOW HOW SHE TREATS CUTE THINGS!
>>6086The best part about Luffy and Nami playing together is that they'd be unstoppable. He would have no idea what a good hand is, so she could just lie to him occasionally.*Pair of twos*Nami: Oh yeah, that's a good hand, keep that.Luffy: WHOOHOO, I'M GONNA WIN!Everyone else: Fuck, I'm out.
>>6088OH JESUS WHAT ARE THESE THINGS THEY'RE SO CUTE I WANT ONE
>>6100http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Momongahttp://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Momonga
Oh-ho, what do we have here?
>>6113
Luffy is a weird case, it's not that he doesn't know what relationships, sex, and marriage are, it's just that they aren't the focus.when he was asked by Lola to marry her he flat out said hell no even though he was alone and he knew what it was.The biggest misconception people make is assuming Luffy is stupid like Goku was. He isn't, he understands basic physics, he can experiment and do tests and understand results, he is just extremely simple. You can explain a concept to him and he'll get it but he simply will refer to it as a mystery because it's easier. He's also very empathic, if you think he hasn't picked up on Hancock or anyone elses feelings your a moron. And finally I think the biggest point here is... There wanted fucking criminals, they will never be able to legally be married... so why does he only need one girl?On a side note Strong World did a fucking number on this folder
>>6197 You mean your one piece folder is now totally filled with LuNa? Same here haha. I've actually been trying to diversify so I don't feel like such a massive shipper.
I love LuVi it gives me the Aladdin & Jasmine vibe. When he catches her after Croc throws her off the palace wall I always hear "A Whole New World" in my head.
>>6209That picture matches the song perfectly. Someone needs to make that amv.
>>6197>He's also very empathic, if you think he hasn't picked up on Hancock or anyone elses feelings your a moron.I dunno, broseph, he seems pretty oblivious to me. He's good at picking up on people's feelings but that doesn't necessarily translate into really getting what they mean.
>>6201>>6202I used to ship it but lost interest when Tashigi failed to play as big a role as I thought she would. However, I still like this scenario:They're getting married (for some reason), everything's going along smoothly, Zoro removes her veil for the big kiss... "Th-that face!" He freaks out, jumps through a strained-glass window and chaos breaks loose.

I ship this and I don't even know why. ;_; <3
Weird little observation: LuNa shippers have pointed out that Nami is the only person who Luffy has ever exhibited any kind of attraction towards.I just realized that the same is true of Nami and Kalifa.
>>7110
>>7110No no no, it's Luffy hasn't been attracted to any girl besides Nami, and lets not start this shit with Usopp being around, Usopp was around when he was looking at the girls dressed in there dancer outfits and NADAUsopp was around for Cammie, Usopp was around a lot of time and Luffy reacted with nothing. It's better explained as "For the lulz"(Keep in mind I still don't think Luffy and Nami will get together, I just find that explanation to have too many hooooooooooooooles)
>>7117 I agree, 'For the sake of a joke' is the best answer that makes the most sense.>>7110 <I'm okay with this,,,
>>7117Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the point that Usopp was ogling Nami's noodity, causing Luffy to follow suit? I don't remember him acting like that around those other girls.
>>7119I'm pretty sure that's how Oda Explained Luffy's immunity to Hancock
>>7119Yes, but the thing is it's inconsistent, it's not like Luffy is stupid, he just likes the simple answers in life.So what he doesn't get horny if Usopps not around? what about the times Usopp see's a hot girl and gets horny and Luffy doesn't?It's better to say "It was a joke" than say "Oh it's all Usopp being a bad influence"That's me thinking about it too much anyway. I just think "It's a joke" is a better explanation.
>>7122>what about the times Usopp see's a hot girl and gets horny and Luffy doesn't?I do not recall those times, which is the point I was trying to make here >>7119I guess the vagueness of the word "him" (by which I meant Usopp) was confusing.

Cutest. Ship. Ever.
>>8269Yeah, when it's out-of-character chibi shenanigans and not the violent homosexual rape of a (formerly) naive and optimistic teenager perpetuated by a criminal kingpin with gigantism and a prosthetic hook.
>>8270 Seriously, and it doesn't even make sense in that waySome ships are just too nonsensical even for me.
>>8270Sir, as a person who doesn't ship One Piece but has to begrudgingly admit that Luffy/Croc makes my pants feel funny, I have to politely disagree with this assessment. Also, Crocodile doesn't have to rape people, he's Sir Motherfucking Crocodile.
>>8272My assessment was that rape scenarios aren't the cutest. What are you saying...?
>>8274I am saying that I don't think the Luffy/Croc shipping has much to do with rape (at least not recent shipping), and that cute chibis were posted because of this fact. It's like, if someone posted some Croc/Flamingo, and they posted some sort of adawwwable they probably aren't talking about the equal amount of HORRIBLE RAPE FLAMINGO shipping.
>>8272 He's a man made of sandChicks don't like having sandy vagina's
>>8275I never said anything that contradicted any of that. I just illustrated an alternative (and, as far as I'm concerned, equally legitimate) interpretation of the ship. Besides, I only did it to unnerve people with uncomfortable mental images, which is something I like to think I'm relatively good at.>>8277He's not sandy all the time. Though I wonder if he'd have issues with getting his dick wet...In before Nurse dumps Crocobin fanart or whatever it's called.
>>8277>>8280Well, he does have full control over his body, so I assume he could also be ribbed for her pleasure.
Someone say wet Crocodile?
>>8285Logia users can't alter their human bodies; we've discussed this.
wet + sand = muddy dickNot sure if want. It probably make a cool sand castle.
>>8289Mud isn't made of water and sand, it's made of water and dirt. Water and sand makes... wet sand.
>>8290And having sex with that will just leave you with a sandy vagina and nobody wants that... 'cept maybe Nurse...
>>8290Well that's even worse. It's about the same consistency though. Sand castle are able to take shape after the dry.Now I'm going to be dreaming about Crocodile using his Desert Spada attack inappropriately.

I always liked Zoro/Nami. I think it was their little scene at Arlong Park that did it. Plus the fact that they're fucking hilarious every time they interact. Also because it's totally hot. Because, I mean. It is.
There's a surprising amount of this ship, and I'm not sure what to make of it.(The title refers to a popularity contest, by the way.)
>>8343 *tries to resist urge to start singing "In the Navy"*
>>8351Also, piggyback rides in Alabasta.
>>8363THE COLD WAR IS OVER!Oda says Franky is America, and Robin is Russia and I'm loving the imagery that could come of it!
>>8366I love this pairing and I don't even know why.
>>8372Any of these reasons? >>2108
>>8374No, not really.
>>8342There's a scanlated version for the whole comic you know.
>>8593Goddamnit I have cavities now. And feebly searching for some insulin in the area.
>>8593This translation is so awkward but jfc so cute. I can't even.
>>8586Oh my god. That is adorable.SaNa by Olafpriol for content.
>>8586OH GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS YOU ARE A PRINCE AMONG MEN ;A;
>>8597 . . .Unconscious Girls Can't Say No!
>>8594>>8595>>8597>>8598I will never understand you crazy people.
>>8600Flip the genders and there's your answer.
>>8366This is the only ship I actually support in OP, because goddammit is it adorable.
>>8609
>>8608It's still weird because it's so out of character (even for their girl versions). I suppose that's to be expected somewhat with shipping; But seeing Crocodile sit down and embrace Luffy like that is of Zutarian proportions. Not to say I think you guys shouldn't enjoy your little fantasy here; You just crazy.
>>8617 It's even stranger seeing as Crocodile is one of like maybe five to ten people in the entire series that Luffy hasn't forgiven. When he sees Mr. 3 or Buggy or Hatchan they're practically old friends, but when we meet back up with Crocodile Luffy still wants to beat the shit out of him.
>>8619 This>>8617 And thisShipping in general in OP might lead to OOC, but there's a limit to the degree of it I can stand.I don't suppose anyone's got some Luffy/Blackbeard or Luffy/world nobles to give off an even wilder mindfuck?
>>8617My point was femanons like fantasizing about the gay for the same reason menanons like fantasizing about the lesbian.
>>8624That doesn't seem to be true, they don't appear to be having graphic sexual encounters with each other.
>>8625Women feed off emotions, especially confusion and despair, instead of just masturbating and moving on like men.
>>8627I was gonna say "That's not true!" but... yeah. It's totally true. A lot of ladies get off on emotional turmoil. Hence why the whole hurt/comfort genre of fanfiction exists.
How bout some more HNNGH?
>>8636This made my day.
>>8636I lold, and then I daw'd.
>>8627Yeah, this. Women seem to like seeing the relationship itself, guys just wanna see some hot sex. Hence why I fast forward through the first unnecessary 5 minutes of every porno.
Crocodile and Luffy are a good 'Father & Son' duo but since I don't ship Yaoi I don't ship them. They are thematicly similar both men (Luffy is 18 now so he's a man not a boy) who want to become the Pirate King, Croc was full of life before something happened and he lost sight of his dream. Luffy has the reached the point where Croc has where he's starting to lose sight of his dream because of trauma, but he damn will see it again.Croc is drawn to Luffy because he is in essance the man he forgot to be. While it's true it's Croc's dream to become King, the idea that he lives his dream through Luffy who is thematicly similar is intresting.Especially how the crew would take it. Luffy would NOT be alive if not for Crocodile who directly aided him during the war. But the rest of the Strawhats don't know that... but consider the only two to interact with Crocodile where Luffy and Robin. The rest know him from reports of his personality from them and Vivi. And Robin's last memory is of being impailed. Now obviously Franky is the 'Father' of the crew, so Croc would be the distant Uncle, he keeps to himself and no one really understands him, but one of the kids really gets him like no one else does.I dunno I like it though. Also Zoro in any paring (even the ones I support) makes me cock an eyebrow considering he's Asexual at BEST.
>>8677 As if Luffy would ever look up to that gangster asshole, and the idea of him becoming part of the crew is rediculous.
>>8677 Zoro/Wadō Ichimonji 4eva!
>>8678I don't think anyone actually thinks Croc would join the crew. Beyond the fact that he wouldn't ever let someone else captain him at this point in his life, there's the fact he's massively over-powered.
>>8677Crocodile is more like a cautionary tale than a distant uncle. He's what happens if you give up on your dreams and your morals, and Luffy does not like him one little bit. Crocodile doesn't really give half a crap about Luffy anymore, only helping Luffy out because he wanted to kill Whitebeard and later piss off Django. He's a terrible human being. Also yeah a real honest-to-goodness Logia joining the crew is laughable at best.
>>8690I'd be okay with a Logia, if they had just eaten the fruit and still couldn't control it without intense concentration. Remember back in the flashback how bad Luffy was at using his rubber powers near the beginning, and could only use them for comedic effect, like arms held on to, or things bouncing off him? Sort of like that.Give the guy time to work on getting it to Croc's stage.
>>8701 Yeah, at first Logia's don't even have that automatically reacting to attacks by turning into thier element hax, that's a learned behaviour.
>>8702Yeah, and he's some wimpy kid, so someone throws something at his head expecting him to phase through it all cool, and then THWACK he has a concussion.
>>8701Worse yet, it turns out that fruits reappear in a different place after a person with one has been dead for a while, and that guy found Ace's fruit.
>>8708I can see it. Whenever he gets nervous or stressed, he starts accidentally setting shit on fire, which doesn't particularly help with the stress.
Needs more this
>>8735Now, this isn't necessarily the prettiest ship to look at, but you'd be hard-pressed to convince me that these two weren't totally doing it.
>>8740I for one think it is rather pretty
>>8740I don't know, they could be girlfriends.
>>8755You are now aware that Ivankov's wiener has a giant head with a purple wig and a crown.
>>8755Pretty, but I'm pretty sure that Inazuma is homo so he probably only bangs dude Ivankov. That's not attractive, but I still think they're doin it.Also, still really sad that Inazuma's color scheme ended up the way it did.
>>8772He reminds me of those orange cream popsicles though!
>>8773Yeah, he's an orange creamsicle! That's awesome.I do wish his hair and coat were the same shade of orange, though. Looks a bit off, otherwise.
God NamixLuffy is adorable
>>9813 Indeed so.

>>10145this had best be fan-made crap
>>10235 You mad, bro?
>>10242no, I just know that Oda said there would be no romance in One Piece except for a man's romance(advenutre). So I would hope that they wouldn't make any official one piece merch that supports pairings
>>10246Oda is also a pathological liar who knows how to misdirect people asking him questions as to not spoil shit.I mean I don't think there will be any romance either but I also know that he knows that he can tell us anything and we'll believe him. It's why he's offered 2 different reasons (At least) for Luffy liking Nami's hot bodReason 1: Because he's a guy, asked way before Hancock was introduced, nothing mentioned about UsoppReason 2: Oh because Usopp was there and he's a bad influence. The first says "Nah that's just how boys are" the second says "Oh no it was totally because of Usopp"He's also the master of 'Sure why the fuck not' like when readers suggest birthdates and stuff
>>10251well until Oda puts it directly into the manga I still say there'll be no romance with the strawhats.
>>10252I know and I agree. I'm just playing devils advocate by saying "Never trust an author"and I mean that unless the series is done NEVER trust them. Because lets say your a writer and your trying to craft a story, and any answer you make could spoil what you have planned. Let's not even talk romance lets even talk like... someone asked "Is Tashigi, Kuina?"Of course your going to say No! it doesn't matter if it is true or not your saving that for the in-story reveal.
It's clearly fanmade shit because the Nami is old old comic style art and the Luffy is old pencil-board art.More importantly, the day there is romance in One Piece is the day that Oda has jumped the shark. And since it's Oda that will never happen.
huhsome people are getting too bent out of shape over something cute being posted in a designated shipping threadwhats the big deal
