The Joker is wreaking havoc in the meantime, and neither Iroh's forces nor Wolfbatman can get a grip on her. The high chancellor, several ambassadors and, oddest of all, a royal architect all fall to the new, organized crimewave being led by this madwoman.
At one of Sokka's charity dinners, the Joker (might have to change that) arrives and announces that she's looking for the Fire Lord, and it's really only a matter of the attendee's prefrence if they want to be burned alive while she and her cronies look for him.
She recognizes Mai (who doesn't recognize her) and tells her a story. About how she was once a high-ranking official, with big plans, and big dreams. She was all buisness, of course, but you need to stay focused. Thing is, the thing that she wanted, that she'd basically built her whole life around, dissapeared when a friend of hers just...betrayed her. This was a trusted, carefully chosen ally, and out of nowhere they decide to just quit the plan. And everything fell apart from there, and she began to realize, as it got worse and worse, that there was no point in being serious about anything. Nothing matters, because there's no permanance, no fate, no destiny. It's all a big joke. The Joker says that she cut a smile into her face just so she could appreciate that joke more.
As Mai's eyes go wide with realization, the Wolfbatman arrives, starting a fight and a hostage situation that I'm guessing anon can predict.

I'm feelign a bit tired, now, so I'm going to cut over to Katara.

SHE would progress downstreammaking an adhoc-airbuble of herself and Aang by bending the water outwards. She realizes that the only way to save Aang right now is to freeze him in a block of ice, to preserve him the same was he was protected for one hundred years. Tearfully, she does so, promising to find the legendary healing water that can salve any wound, and in the meantime finding the monster who took him from her and the world.
She does the same for herself, sheathing her body in ice so that she can protect herself; both from heat, which as a result of the overcharged water causes her pain, and the world which has basically killed her soul.
She incorporates herself into the criminal scene, fitting in well with the new class of criminal in the city. This is really just an attempt to find out who ordered the hit on Aang, and to get information on the healing water.
She thinks that Sokka has abandonned her, ading to her hatred of the world. In battle, she tends to just toss water and freeze it in mid-flight, like she did to Jet. In order to do so, she keeps a large tank of it one her back.

I endorse your efforts and may incorporate them into ideas of my own, this is most certainly a curious project

Well, even if Terry Pratchett does die suddenly, at least Discworld still has some of it's humor left.
Poor Douglas Adams ended up dying when, from what I've heard and some of what I've read, Hitchhiker's was resolved with a bad end because of a creator breakdown.

Even though this is just a joke, what kind of conversion is needed?

Do we need every single character to literally take the place of another one? What next, Zuko dressed up in a suit?

Loose amalgams are fine. But let's not kid ourselves. The less restrictions you put on something, the better.

Even if that means it's only in the vein of the inspiration.

It was quite some years ago, back when I was a young man - still more a boy than a man, really - when I had some of my most harrowing experiences. Many of my fondest memories were formed during that time, when I became a part of that team, but it wasn't without its darker moments, that's for sure.

I was a RED. That meant I fought BLUs, and that was pretty much the shape of it. Nobody questioned why or how it had all started, and I wasn't about to go leading any revolutions by asking. My new team welcomed me with open arms, and that was good enough for me. We were a small group, caught up in a conflict that found us based in one end of a ghost town, and the BLUs at the other, and though both sides did their damnedest to push the other back and take territory, neither ever seemed to gain much of a foothold for long. That was probably why I'd been welcomed in so freely; it might have been that they thought I could make a difference. And maybe I could have done, but it wouldn't have just been me who turned the tide. I learned quickly that the team was everything; we had to stick together, always, if we wanted to have any hope of victory at all.

The team itself consisted of a Heavy, a Medic, an Engineer, a Spy, a Pyro, a Sniper (whom I rarely ever saw), and myself. There were a few others who I never got to be very familiar with, too, whom I think were mostly Soldiers, but we were the core of our team, and these were the people I'd wind up spending almost all of my time with. We'd fight together, win together, lose together, work, rest and play together. Since we never really knew what the BLUs were going to do next, we couldn't afford to be apart for long in case we needed eachother, and believe me, we needed eachother a lot.

We lived in what could only be described as a ruined farm. It was our base, and really, it wasn't so bad once you got used to it. We slept in the barn, and while it was kind of dusty and maybe a little smelly, there was something I liked a lot about sleeping in the hay. Whenever I lay down to rest in that barn, no matter what had happened during the day, all my worries would just drift away. It was warm and safe, and know

Before the Justice /co/mrades had been formed, /co/ was protected by Sage Man (Superman) and the Masked /co/mrade (Batman). However, both were past their prime when the Internet Hate Machine and his /b/ Legions attacked.

As a Femanon is about to be raped by /b/tards, a store dummy bursts out a window and kills them both. Taking the guns from the two dead /b/tards, the dummy introduces himself as Manny Quinn.

Meanwhile, in /co/'s old west district, a man wearing two vests rallies the /co/mrades and forces the /b/tards out, where they are ambushed by a Viking with a Jetpack and a knight in futuristic armor.

At this point, we see Sage Man get his ass kicked by the Internet Hate Machine. Before the Internet Hate Machine can execute him, a skinless man interferes and rescues Sage Man.

At this point, the five heroes have joined forces in order to save the city. Attacking the Internet Hate Machine in a full-force assault, the heroes lure the IHM down to /co/'s primary defense cannon. A final attack knocks the IHM into the firing chamber, where he is shot out of the city, punctures a hole through his spaceship, and crashes onto the planet below.

Hailed as heroes, the tycoon Chaptor agrees to fund the heroes and their operations. Sage Man joins the group in a supportive role, and the mantle of the Masked /co/mrade is passed on to a younger /co/mrade.

In an epilogue, the IHM's ship is shown crashing into a mostly unsettled landmass. The remains of the IHM are found by an unsuspecting Moot, who starts to repair him without knowing his true identity.
