Hogun is being played by Tadanobu Asano, who's Japanese, and his character was always kinda vaguely Mongolian or something, but he isn't a part of actual Norse mythology.

That, and I remember one person once lamented that one possible candidate for Thor himself said he possibly wasn't chosen because they may have wanted somebody more Nordic-looking, which the person making the comment said was something of a double-standard that they'll look high and low for the perfect Nordic-looking guy, but they won't bother with Asians.   Speaking of older Toph, anyone else have trouble wondering what her voice will end up sounding like? It's just a bit hard for me to imagine since her voice just sounds so young in the series.

So, I figured I'd go looking for clips of the voice actress doing other things, hopefully in her normal voice, to give me an idea of what Toph's vocal cords might end up being like. After all, she can't keep sounding that way forever, right?

Checking out IMDB, however, sadly turns up very little. She hasn't done too many things aside from Avatar, and what other things she's done have been nearly all child voices. ):

Toph voice, since there aren't enough clips of Toph voice in existence, apparently.

It's just her with her normal voice up until about 13 or 14 seconds in. After that, it's all "Melon Lord!"

Thoughts? Not much to go on, but I can kinda imagine Toph having that voice as a baseline when she's older. If I heard more of her using different tones I think I could imagine it better.
