After watching the first episode of Go!, I think it's decent even if I liked the shorts better. I'll give it a few more episode at least.

My biggest complaint has to be that Robin's characterization isn't as much exaggerated as unrecognizable. Rather than being overly serious and kind of irritable ("Would it kill you to smile?" "... [i]Maybe/[i]") he's just a self-absorbed ass.

But, as for the whole 'affects everyone' thing with the Chaos Emeralds, didn't Ray point out during the Knuckles arc of Universe that "everyone reacts to Chaos Energy but some react more than others" and that he can't go Super, but the Emerald does react to him, etc.? I think it was SU#10 or something.

Hey guys, you know one thing I've noticed? There's a significant number of things we wouldn't know about the comic if Ian didn't come around and start talking to us about it. Some of it is trivia, but others are plot-important notes that should have been in the comic in the first place.

On a side note, I fucking love that story arc. So well done. Too bad I had to read most of the backstory on a website instead of the comic. Say what you will, but I miss the dragged out storylines and worldbuilding from the KP era of the comic. Nowadays this stuff is mostly pushed aside or condensed to one page every few comics. I don't draw the girls themselves much, but I just fucking love Canepa and Barbucci's art in general. They were fantastic in Sky Doll, but even back when they were doing WITCH their style was still beautiful and felt different from most of what else was out there.
