Hey /tek/! I love my laptop but its speakers are on the bottom near the front (under my wrists...Asus made some weird design choices with this one), which as you can imagine is not optimal for sound performance. My volume is often near the max because I often just can't hear hardly anything from my position if there is any noise in the room.tl;dr speaker recommendations? My budget is a paltry $30. I'm not looking for surround sound or anything, just something that I can actually hear out of...Might be looking at these...http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-984-000108-Laptop-Speaker-Z205/dp/B0036VO6IC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1283760887&sr=1-1-spellhttp://www.amazon.com/Logitech-S220-Speaker-System-Subwoofer/dp/B000RQSGYOhttp://www.amazon.com/Logitech-S150-Speakers-Digital-Sound/dp/B000ZH98LU/ref=sr_1_8?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1283761002&sr=1-8
Don't much about copy speakers but I do recall Altec Lansing having a much better reputation than Logitech among audiophiles. Take a look at their stuff.
