Also, already have the teams sorted out. Everybody only gets five, because the only trainers to get six are former or current Champions and rivals.

I know next to nothing about the Pokemon beyond the original 151. If it was up to me, my team would at least have Blastoise and Gengar. I appreciate the Metal theme, seems to be the most appropriate; I'd proably also have the final evolution of Onyx, assuming he's not weaksauce.

Yeah, I'd be going with the generators so that I can start off with a Cacturne and confuse everyone. Hippopotas, Flygon, and two Trapinch would be the whole team, and I'd give out Earthquake or Dig. Maybe Rock Tomb. Depends on how much I want to troll the trainer who beat me.

I'd be in that Unlicensed Non-Badge Giving Fighting Gym that most games have.

If I had to choose I'd probably pick flying types, mostly because it makes sense as an aesthetic choice even disregarding weirdo Game Freak logic.

Genius idea here. I give out any of those three depending on how I give out the badge. If I'm steamrolled, Rock Tomb. If I take out at least four of your pokemon, I give out Earthquake for being an evenly matched motherfucker, and if I beat your ass at least once, Dig.
