because somebody on an anonymous board was being a bit of a greedy asshole about their request, you think incog should stop doing a request that caught his interest and he had almost certainly already started, and deprive the rest of us of a great pic we probably would have enjoyed as well, to 'teach him a lesson'.

okay, whatever, there's no way for me to know and frankly i don't care. same principle applies either way. it's an anonymous board. there are going to be douchebags (and in this case, it wasn't even that bad, i've seen much worse in the way of greedy begging). letting the greedy douchebags affect you EITHER way, either giving in because of their whinyness or refusing them just to spite them, is giving them and countertrolls more power than they deserve. artists should only give them the power that everybody else has - if they have a request the artist thinks is interesting enough to do, they do it. if not, they don't.

because we do not act like dicks. others do. most people here are appreciative and kind to the artists. if there was a way to punish just the dicks, great, take it. but it's an anonymous forum, so that's hard. maybe if mods banned people who pulled the whining shit, it would help. i'd have no fear on that happening to me. they might choose to ban me for this ill-advised discussion, though i hope they wouldn't because i contribute here.
