Enjoyed this chapter. Kinda glad to see how the celestial dragons are relevant[/spoilers]. Also, [spoiler]fuck yeah, Dragon! He didn't do much, but it's nice to see him actually in the story.

Well, those aren't actually the world nobles (they're local nobles), though I guess either way they have someone more responsible to clean their shit up when they do something stupid without consequence.

I guess they could have gotten rid of the actual trash the regular way, and this is just for getting rid of the people quickly.

I just hope this does end up blowing up in their faces (almost literally) instead of the laws of physics for some reason agreeing with their jackassery. Either way, we definitely know Windmill Village made it out alright because we've seen it in the present looking fine.

I'm still not even sure if it's because they grow because the user died. I'm honestly wondering if there are thousands of devil fruits as opposed to the hundreds Oda implied, but they only grow once every 400 years or something. Even the average giant will only see the same fruit once in a lifetime, but they'll hear firsthand rumors about it if it reappears.

Well, in the SBS Oda clarified a statement made by Usopp to mean "The same powers don't exist twice AT THE SAME TIME." So no fruit can give you the same power someone else currently has.

I might not be that your death causes the fruit you had to grow, but unless you could lose the power some way besides dying I don't understand how that could work.

We know the same powers/fruits have to reappear sometimes or else Vegapunk couldn't have cataloged them.

Although, funnily enough, the "grows everyone once in a long period of time" thing was how Luffy's fruit (which wasn't shown to be one of any kind of fruit) worked in the pilot.
