I liked this chapter. It had a number of great moments:

-Worldbuilding
-Luffy leaving behind an IOU
-Luffy declaring his dream
-The ageless Makino
-Garp kicking their asses
-Treehouse!

I love how Luffy's training to use his rubber body properly. That was so adorable seeing Pistol fail tremendously.

Actually, Oda draws everything living. His assistants do backgrounds. Too lazy to find the interview but he refuses to let other people draw characters because it messes up his flow.

Croc's hook happened because he just got bored on day and decided to cut off his own hand and use it to kill a man. His men were all "But Sir, you need that hand." and Croc was all "Fuck hands, I'm Sir Mother Fucking Crocodile." He tried to cut off the other, but he realized he needed another hand to do so. He'd have had his men do it for him, but no one touches Sir Crocodile but Sir Crocodile. Then he had sex with all the women... and a good deal of the men, who turned into women upon being penetrated by his glorious manhood.

Crocodile has become tiresome to me, all cause his fans are a bit much.
