My mother does that with Malta.

For those of you who don't know what Malta is... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry.

No.44374
I love doing that. It's delicious.

Think about root beer floats and how good the leftover root beer mixed with the melted ice cream is; it's like that.

No.44380
Huh. So did this combo originate in Japan or what? I'm intrigued by unusual food combinations.

No.44399
Is it actually good?

No.44400
sounds nasty. i asked my husband who apparently has tried it. he said it curdles the milk.

Maybe if you do it with a cola that has lemon juice in it.

No.44415

My mom is from Puerto Rico and does it. Its not bad. I like to put vanilla Ice cream in a glass and pour coca cola into it. Mix it up and drink it down before they came up with Vanilla Coke.

I too, thought it no longer existed...until I was visiting New York City a few weeks or so ago and stumbled across it there

It's still made, but not all grocery stores carry it.

>>44400
I've had it curdle the milk before, but only after I let it sit for half an hour.

>>44380
One of my relatives once told me it was an old soda shop staple.

>One of my relatives once told me it was an old soda shop staple.

I went to a throw back Coca Cola soda bar like that in Santa fe once. It was the first time I had tried coke with vanilla and it was a month or two before they actually started selling Vanilla Coke. They also had milk to add to I thought that was just as weird as adding the orange or chocolate they also offered.

Coke with chocolate syrup is God-Tier beverage.

No.44477
My grandmother mixes diet coke with kahlua.

No.44603
Ok guys, I'm going to give this a try. Is there a particular type of milk to use, and what's the ratio of cola to milk?

No.44618
I don't like coke/pepsi. Does it work with other kinds of soda?

No.44624
>>44618
You could try root beer or orange soda. That seems most logical.
