I like drawing with ball-point pens. There cheap, simple and easy to use. Though the ink doesn't always show up.
You should go over the drawings with a darker pen. It's hard to see the details with all the scribbles. And Photoshop has a method to erase all the red if you draw with a dark color on top, so you don't see all the scribbling you did.
