Because of this thread (well techicaly the first one) I just started watching metalocalypse. Thank you, these last few days of watching the show have been great. I highly recommend anything by Cycatryx http://cyx-fyx.livejournal.com/She mostly writes Toki and Skwisgaar (there's a few multichaptered fics there), and has a good grasp of all the characters and writes them really well. Her smut's also very nice.
I think my biggest pet peeve as a fanartist in this fandom is that there's so many people who give weird almost backhanded compliments like "I HATE this pairing but like your art!"In a community specifically FOR the very pairing they say they dislike, no less. What's up with that? Meh.
