So I stumbled upon an interesting little thread over in /draw/, and it looks like the original poster hasn't moved the idea over here yet.Basically, a DC version of the Marvel swimsuit edition. Here's a little copypasta: "Marvel Swimsuit editions work more or less like this: For some reason a bunch of superheroes are stranded in some tropical place and then there are photo sessions of the heroes in bikini. "And etc. What do you say? Sexy potential or SEXIEST potential? Post ideas/scenarios, illustrations, hell, even some writefagging . I know some of the Marvel pages had little blurbs and captions to go with them.
Sounds cool, I think I have a few ideas;-An old-fashioned (ie Golden/Silver Age) kind of pin-up, featuring supers (and maybe some villians) Pre-Crisis. Maybe insert some hilarious situations typical of the period, like Joker challenging Batman and Robin to a volleyball game with a bomb-A pin-up of Big Barda with Mister Miracle trapped in sand in the backgroundAlso, the Marvel Swimsuit Editions had fake ads, so would those be included or what?
One thing's for sure: if DC heroes are going to be getting at least partially nude, then Starfire is going to be involved. The girl just loves gettin' naked.
I think it would be funny to take one of the normally scantily clad female superheroes and give them a swimsuit with more coverage than their costume.Why yes, I did just steal that from Gurren Lagann
