Someone needs to explain to Ms. Diaz how words work. Though I now have a sneaking suspicion she's applying the same technique to her writing that she does to her "art". That is, copying different words and phrases from other stories and pasting them together in her comics. Not full sentences mind you. Just a few words here and there cut out and pasted back together to resemble a sentence. But, like her understanding of anatomy, there's always something just not quite right about it.

It would explain a lot.

I dunno, she treated him better than most Zutarians I've seen. At least she lets him grow up and be a man, usually Zutarians stuff him full of anti-growth hormones so he stays an immature little preteen forever.

On the other hand, though, she DID seem to get a kick out of everyone making fun of him like he was the designated Wet Blanket. (I chalk the uselessness up to the fact that by this point Barbietara was just that big a Mary Sue and it was rubbing off on her poor brother.)
