So which side would win in a all out 3-way battle?

The fires

What's interesting about that is most of the Fire-type starters work in pretty similar ways. Many of them function best as straightforward attackers. But there's a lot more variety in what the Water and Grass starters are capable of, or at least good at.

And really it all depends on how their various trainers decide to handle the situation. There are simply too many variables!

The reptilian flora.

Gonna go with Grass as well.

In an all out battle you have to think beyond 1v1.

Grass tends to have the best defense, and they can heal themselves, double so when draining the water types.

Plus, with their status effects, they have the long battle in the game.

Fires because of the three fire/fighting Pokemon. And the dark, steel, and ground water types don't hold up too well against that.

...There aren't any Water/Dark starters, and Ground is neutral to Fighting.

This.
Toxic + Leech Seed + Synthesis/Giga Drain + Earthquake = lolgg
>> No. 21207
Personally I think that the water types would put up a good fight; they do have a diverse move pool and can learn icebeam and some other strange attacks so yeah.

Oh right. I always forget that Feraligatr isn't dark type.
Same with ground being neutral to fighting.
OOPS.

Yes, but two of those are frail and only a couple hits could take them out.

Would you happen to have the bigger version of these pictures?

Nobody ever make fun of this guy again

Can't stand like that, he'll fall over!

Wotter3 would be the best starter if he was bipedal. He just looks retarded as a quadruped.
>> No. 21257

>>21254
I feel like that was a flaw in their design. It makes no sense for a biped to evolve into a quadruped.
>> No. 21258
>>21257
But the whole point of the design was to be something unexpected

It does seem a bit backwards, though.

I always just figured he was 4x ambidextrous.

Snivy evolves into something with no limbs! Cut the sea lion-thing some slack.

He doesn't have "thumbs" on his "feet", though.
>> No. 21291

But what about the other way around? It seems like all the water starters end up being far too heavy to stand up in their final stages. Aside from the penguin, who looks like it should have trouble kneeling.

Blastoise is always picture on its hind legs.
>>21262
Yeah, but... okay, I have to give you that one. Still doesn't excuse the sea-pig.

I know this has been said before, but it sorta looks like Dialga on four legs. Which, for me, was part of the reason I didn't like it at first.

But when I see pictures of it on it's hind legs, it looks so much better. I really don't get the decision to make it a quadruped.
>> No. 21330

Yes, but Blastoise looks too top heavy to be able to stand on it's hind legs for long.

I'd go with water if they're trained specifically for this battle, but only after one hard motherfucker of a fight.

Blastoise

Because if he was my dad things would be different around here
