To be honest, I thought Fourze was awesome in the begininning. But after the Cosmic States arc, it just kinda floundered around. There were a couple of bright spots, a couple of great OH SNAP moments during some of the last few episodes, but for me it got really tired after a while. The biggest problem for me was that they both underutilized the cast and characters (who were fantastic but criminally underdeveloped), and Fourze's primary gimmick; his switches. The second he got a new form, he pretty much just used that and maybe, occasionally remembered to whip out another one. Granted, that's a problem W, OOO, and alot of Rider series have, but it really stuck out to me in this one. The fact that they also HAD to stick to two-episode arcs really hurt the pacing as well. Once again, something they've been doing for a while, but it just gets painful to watch something that could have easily been a 20-minute episode get stretched across two. And there weren't even any real subplots to beef out and maybe even justify this set-up. That said, Gentarou managed to shoot his way up to the top of my favorite Riders, maybe even favorite toku heroes, even if his God-tier ability to befriend anyone got a little contrived. (Considering this was the first KR they did post-earthquake, and Toei wanted it to be more cheerful and hopeful for kids, I perfectly understand though.) Meteor was also a great second-rider. It was the first time in a while the secondary Rider felt more like a constant partner to the protagonist like Riderman to V3, rather than a guy who mops up the remaining mooks. He's arguably the only character who had any real growth or development in the series too (With the exception of Kengo, and the fact that Gen didn't really need it, he was fine right off the bat). So, yeah. I liked it. I would have LOVED it if it kept up the spark and energy the first, what was it, 20 or 30 episodes had, but nothing's perfect. At least it wasn't like Hibiki which started great, than went down the crapper after thirty episodes.
