Milky Holmes just came out of nowhere, it's still the least downloaded show of the season outside of japan and it was the third least anticipated anime in japan and just as lowly anticipated outside,
Now it's the third most discussed, fourth in pre-orders off amazon.jp and officially the best anime of the year according to 2ch.

Second Season when?

Even more interesting when you consider it's J.C. staff's lowest profile and lowest budget offering of the season and its viewership doesn't even compare to Otome Youkai Zakuro much less the mega-popular Bakuman and Index series.

Just marathoned the show, starts off shaky but then it gets better, and better, and better.

Honestly, this show had no right being as entertaining as it was, at first glance it's some cutesy moemoe kids show, a few minutes in you think it's gonna be some mahou shoujo until they lose their powers in the first five fucking minutes. Then comes the bear punchings, the buttplugs, loli-abuse, nipple exposure and highstakes crime. The show just goes about trampling pretty much every expectation you can make of it, and then holy fuck finale, Milky Holmes suddenly in motherfucking space saving the day.

Kind of a meh episode to start S2 off with, but had some enjoyable moments. Cordelia's fucking singing was funny and Three Cards were as amazing as they always are.

So apparently S3 is going to be 12 minutes episodes, a 2 year timeskip, a completely new staff, two new main characters, and a bunch of other bullshit that seems ultimately designed to take our Galaxy Angel/South Park TV show from us and make it into Alternative.

Bad, inarguably, because the whole reason MH TV was good is because it fucking despised the basic premise and just became a deranged comedy. The Alternative OVAs attempt to actually imitate the VN tone and sold horribly (not that I ever watched it) as a result.
