Like I said I don't have much in the way of /co/ related cats, Imma try and download some blacksad this week though and storytime it here (some fuckwit apparently banned me for that punk-maggie picture on caturday. In the meantime I have thundercats: the return, thundercats/superman and thundercats/Battle of the planets, think I should storytime any of those?

Someone told me recently that on the live-action Sabrina, they used a live-action cat for some scenes and an animatronic cat for Salem's talking bits, and apparently the real-life Salem died recently (as did the inspiration for Nyan Cat, according to KnowYourMeme). Is sad day.

I wonder if there's a crossover fanart out there of Kiki's Delivery Service and Sabrina. Or just Salem and Jiji hanging out.

Well, the new Littlest Pet Shop cartoon seems to be going that route, who knows. It does have some simple designs (I still think they need a bit of work) and catchy songs, maybe that'll be what they're looking for.

Then again, I suppose the fact it seems to be grounded in the real world is probably one key lacking element, same as with Pound Puppies.

The 101 Dalmatians show was enjoyable because, unlike the animated movie, the cast wasn't so painfully British (I have nothing against the Brits, but the movie somehow always seemed off, to me, because of that).

It's occured to me that I can't really think of examples of male cats paired with female dogs off the top of my head. I guess except for Eek, kind of. Sort of. Once.
I know that dogs are kind of seen as stereotypically masculine while cats stereotypically feminine, but I think I'd be interested in seeing more "role reversals."
