>One Piece: Gigant Battle (previusly known as Project Jet) is a Nintendo DS game published by Bandai. It was first announced in the second Weekly Shonen Jump of december of 2009. It will be focused in the Sabaody Archipelago arc, Impel Down arc and Marineford arc, as Ace, Whitebeard and Blackbeard are seen in the first artwork of the game. The game's gameplay seems to be similar to Jump Ultimate Stars, but it not still confirmed. Its release date is currently set for September 9th, 2010. There will also be a special edition of this game (seen in the promo scan to the very right) that will come with some cards that unlock in-game content and can also be used in a, currently unconfirmed, One Piece arcade game.
FUCKING AWESOME!!!
looks like fun maybe it will get sent over to the states
I am going to download this to my R4 so fucking hard.
Well hey I loved JUS, maybe this will get a fan patch too.
It looks pretty nifty.Really sad that it isn't like the Grand Battle games, though. That stuff will always be the best of the best of OP fighting games.
>>9428R4?>>9429Fan Patch? When it came to JSS and JUS I just went to a local import store and bought them at obviously inflated price. Are you telling me there's a million times better option out there for me and my original release date DS?
>>9439an r4 is a game cartridge with a little memory card in. You take the card out, stick it in a special usb, plug it into the computer and a drive popsup. Put .nds rom file on, then you can play on DS instead of emulator.
>>9439 People made a fan translation patch for jump ultimate stars, all the menus and such.
Yeah, I'm probably just gonna get an R4 for this. Anyone know what the best options are?
So... I'm the only one who intends to actually buy it?
>>9499If it actually went stateside, sure. I'd buy it.
>>9499HEY! I fully intend to purchase it from an importer.
>>9499If it comes state side, hells yes I will buy it. If I get a job, then I might put out and import this, because I'd love to support it no matter what. As things are now, I'm probably just going to save the 20-30 I'd spend importing and get the R4, which can be used for more than just this one game. It's not that I'm not supporting it, but right now the most frugal route is the best one.
>>9499If any One Piece DS/DSi/3D-DS game ever came stateside in an official translation, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. But as the only gameboy game we've gotten so far was for the GBA back in 2005, I'm not going to hold my breath.
>>9512Yeah, but with Viz having sped up the releases, it seems to be getting more popular over here.
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/japanese-overview-one-piece/702725HEY CHECK OUT THE SWEET ASS GAMEPLAY MOTHERFUCKERS!I'm importing the ever lovin' SHIT out of this.
>>10724I lol'd hard when Luffy said 'sekushii tai okama!?"sexy vs tranny
>Akainu is shown beating up AceOh, DICK MOVE, Gigant Battle trailer.
>>10724 The short advert after that...Strong World with ACE AND SHANKS?
http://www.roms43.com/download/15285/One_Piece:_Gigant_Battle!/So, I've had this for about a week now but I can't fight for more than one second since I can't decipher the moon options...Is there a fanpatch or translation walkthrough?
>>11957http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5IXJNNUQPatch your ROM and there should be no problem good sir. This game is sooooo fucking cool!I hope to God somebody makes a translation patch.
>>11957Ok so every other rom I've ever used works fine on my r4Ds, but this one doesn't. I also got a different file from emuparadise and it still doesn't. Ugh. Any help perhaps?
Does anyone has the scans of Gigant Battle Strong World promo cards? The ones with Luffy, Ace and Shanks. I'd be very grateful for them!
