I mean, I like the.. individual character appearances on this one.. but then they go and make the WHOLE fucking intro into those.
Plus the song isn't as epic as it should have been.

Probably the best of the longer openings animation-wise, the shots with the individual characters attacking were some of the only parts of an OP opening in recent memory that made me think "oh hey, that's pretty neat." At first I thought the building rubble was ice, though.

The song is fitting and inoffensive, which immediately places it ahead of WOO WOO WOO YAY by miles. It's not terribly interesting, though.

Depressing intro is depressing.
Seeing kid Ace and Luffy when you know what's about to happen D:

- Cast being all moody

This seemed way too slow. I mean, the music is loads better than WOO WOO YAY, but anything is loads better than WO WOO YAY. I was expecting something a bit more action-packed, considering what's coming. As far as OP openings go, it's not a favorite, or even near the top of the list.
