Blockbuster, Hoping to Reinvent Itself, Files for Bankruptcyhttps://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/24/business/24blockbuster.html?src=buslnso think it was just that they were behind the times?
Blockbusters banned me for destroying a Lizzie McGuire standee after they refused to explain their complete absence of most any good, classic films on their shelves (Seriously, what kind of video store doesn't carry Alien/Aliens, the Godfather trilogy, Beetlejuice, Casablanca, Caddyshack or the Sean Connery James Bond movies?).They can die out and rot away in the annals of film history for all I care.
>>19583Mine at least had some Godzilla movies and some other stuff.
theyve been running on empty for the past decade, im surprised it took this long.they spent a lot of money on stupid shit, its a really badly led company.
Nobody rents movies anymore, and the few times they do they like to use the hole in the wall ATM like machines or mail order servicesAn actual store has been redundant for years
