Tell me your position on them.
Fun between girl friends because it usually means I get a face in my boobs, which is aaaaalways hilarious. I don't hug my dude friends as often, mostly because it is fairly awkward. But I dunno, I think I'd hug most of the guys here if given the chance. Even you, Sen--errr, GKE.
I don't like hugs, especially from people I'm not close to.
I AM IN FAVOR OF THEM.
Hugs from girls are fantastic. They're part of the reason I like winter so much.
I don't like being touched, and my fantastic funbags make everything awkward, but I do quite enjoy hugs from someone big and tall and solid. But it has to be a proper cuddle, none of that one-armed pathetic chestbump nonsense that passes for a hug these days. My cheek to your chest, my hands touching at the back, and by god we're going to hold this for at least seven seconds.
They are delicious. But only from people you want them from.
I wish I could hug all night but it gets too warm and I have to roll around in my sleep
i'm always up for a bro hug bump
Even robots need hugs.
>>276555some more than others
People hugs are pretty awkward but husky hugs are awesome.
Hugs are good but always ask before you give them!Sometimes people don't want you touching them and vis-versa!
>>276561You' hugged me without asking, Bea.~so creepy~
I'm a huge faggot and hug when greeting someone. Both sides bitches. Some people really like it, other's hate it. People who hate it can suck my ass.Hugs are important and make you feel SO GOOD. INSIDE.
>>276561Reason #42 why anime conventions are weird.
>>276566Why.. why do they do that? Are anime nerds really so starved for human contact that they need to advertise free hugs?
>>276568That and random"glomps" from complete strangers out of fucking nowhere.
For family & significant others only. Everyone else, a handshake or a dap is fine enough.
I've tried to cut down on my hugs to just sentimental moments.Sometimes there might be a shoulder lock with a semi-bro, although I usually try and go for handshakes some people just grab your hand funny and pull you in. Full-bros get a simple hand grab and a warm greeting. Or no greeting and just acknowledgement - true bros don't need that shit. And, of course, with the ladies there's the kiss on the cheek, which involves a small hug of some kind. Or a hand shake if I feel intimidated by them or vice versa.
Hugs are fun but I hate when you both try to put an arm over or under and just kinda slap arms. :/
>>276561My life is a constant struggle not to hug people spontaneously because I'm never sure if the other party will hate it. I just have so many feelings!>>276535Sounds like a very dad-ish style of hug.
I am perfectly willing to hug my family. Not so big on hugs beyond that, not that I have anyone to hug anyway. I wish my academic advisor would catch on to this. It's not helping, dude.I also don't understand hugs as a form of greeting.

>With menSee enclosed video>With womenI'm cool with hugging ladyfriends I haven't seen in a while. I try to keep an inch or two of breathing room between us so as not to make them feel uncomfortable.
I like them. I don't think I'm a very huggable person, though.
Hugs are only warranted if a close family member (Not friend!) needs one in a dire setting.OR.If a really beautiful woman wants to hug.
>>276563DEALWITHITsorry you are just very nonthreatening lookingnow you have the creeper disease
>>276548So awkward, toof.
Nobody takes me up on my hugs.
>>276598YES I DO, THEN YOU JAM A LIVE WIRE IN MY BACK
>>276596I'll make you do it again if you get it wrong!
I really like to hug people, but I am too awkward to signal that I do. So people tend to avoid hugging me, seeing me struggling with it. I wish I could just once engage in social situations without being in a constant state of panic.
I usually only hug my Dallas friends because they are bro-girls and I do not see them often and we always have goo drunk times.
Super gay, bro.
>>276612good* drunk times.Bleh.
With men. "Let's do the bro hug. Like bros do." Unless they are my serious bros, then we do the full on gayest hug ever. It generally turns into a big massive group hug of all men. With ladies: Always fun and I try to keep it short so shit don't get awkward. Unless it's my girlfriend, then it lasts a long time. :3With strangers: Fuck that noise. I go to Youmacon once a year and will only partake in "Free Hugs" if it is a woman and she is particularly hot.
>>276642>YoumaconOh fuck me I forgot that existed. Oh god I can actually go this year.
"Take your stinking paws off me, you damned dirty ape!"Seriously, I have a large personal space. Hugs from relatives I can tolerate, but I prefer strangers to keep their hands off me, thank you.
>>276655DAAAAAAARC. WE SHOULD HANG OOOOOOOUUUT.
>>276701DOOOOOOOC. I AGREEEEE.I'll still have to work out the details (I've never actually gone before, due to not having a job/transportation) but I am totally looking forward to it, my sister goes every year and tells me it's awesome.
when do strangers hug?
>>276714After the third drink.
I love hugs! I really enjoy hugging women because I'm short. I usually give bros, the bro hug, handshake hug or whatever you want to call it. Most of the time when I see family there are a bunch of people so it's one arm hugs going around everywhere. But anybody who wants seems to want a real any type of 2 armed hug hug gets a real hug. I put a lot of heart into it and I've been told I was a good hugger. I put quite some strength into it but it doesn't feel like I'm crushing you.
Once I saw Doom and Probe try to high five while they were in the middle of a hug.It was possibly the most homosexual thing this side of balls touching.
>>276737Doom/Probe OTP
>>276737And that kind of attitude is why I only high-five Probe.
>>276741Because you want everybody to think you're homosexual?
>>276748As if everyone doesn't already Because he's the only one who truly appreciates them.
I appreciate them.
I like hugs, which is odd considering how awkward I am around people. I mostly hug family and close friends anyway, but I will hug others given the right circumstances, like if they're upset and don't mind or if they offer first. >>276561 Agreed. There was only one time I attempted to give a hug to someone who did not want one. Very awkward and made me feel terrible at the time. It was completely innocent, but I still don't like remembering it
