ITT: Images you can stare at for hours. Preferably photographs, and not image macros. And not just porn.
Videos can count too, right?
I have a framed print of this painting that I got from the National Gallery in London. Unfortunately the print turned out way too dark, so it's almost impossible to make out details even if there's no glare.
most magnificent thing I've ever seenNo, I am not looking forward to the movie. By focusing on his owner they are DOING IT WRONG.but yeah, Secretariat is ultimate
>>265471Did that jockey and horse get a super head start or something?
>>265475Nope. They just blew everyone else out of the fucking water.
>>265471"We remember–how we remember!–and the sun has never set upon that day." (Edward L. Bowen)Horses do not run as fast as he did. The 1973 Belmont Stakes is amazing enough by itself, but it becomes so much more when you consider the context of that victory. The end of twenty-five years without a Triple Crown winner, time records in every race that stand to this day, disposing of his usual "out of the clouds" running style and sprinting straight to the front, the jockey following orders to just sit there and not interfere...Suffice to say that Secretariat went so far beyond known boundaries that his only point of reference was himself. The Time magazine cover came out BEFORE he ascended to godhood in the Belmont. He was just that awesome.
>>265456That's an awesome room. Better not have cum stains around though. >>265471>>265480>>265488WOW...
My attention span does not allow me to stare at anything for more than five minutes. But the image I've spent most of my time looking at is probably the world map, seeing as theres one in the living room across the table where I eat, one above my bed, and one as my desktop wallpaper.
I'd post some but they were sent to me in confidence.
Shiney~
>>265546If you love planes so much, why don't you just marry them?
If we can use video, then the ONLY proper answer is Alex Roman's The 3rd & the 7th. I still watch this thing at least weekly.http://vimeo.com/7809605
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/54/Aivazovsky%2C_Ivan_-_The_Ninth_Wave.jpgToo big to post, apparently.
>>265547My God, it's so simple... why didn't I think of it. Wait, but.. I love too many... this might be troublesome.
>>265832Become a Mormon. Marry many many planes. Be happy forever! Or until someone tells you that you can't actually marry planes...
>>265747..............he looks like he has a hard-on (I'm sorry)
