I question how a ghost-type creature could die, but ultimately attempt to reconcile the alien nature of pokemon with my perception of the afterlife by pouring my resources into the founding of a shadowy research organization devoted to deriving technological, genetic, and medical advancement from the research of pokemon. Surely the applications of these shapeshifting demigods could be harnessed better than mere children's cockfights?
Of course, certain individuals may question my admittedly methods of experimentation and subject capture, but no matter. It's not like a plucky 10-year-old hero will rise up from obscurity to challenge my authority, right?
