>>174915 As soon as games can disconnect aim, FOV, and movement, FPSes will take on a new level in ability and strategy. Currently all of these are locked into the same area (with some games maybe offering a bit of freedom with aim), but being able to do cover fire or weapon ready in one direction, while you move in a second, and check your surroundings in a third to make sure no one is getting the drop on you is extremely important in real-world tactical situations.
From what I've seen (with admittedly little digging) is that we've been able to get to two directions, but not yet three. Still better than nothing.
