What books based on other media (series, films, comics etc) have you read? Which ones did you enjoy, which ones did you hate? Picture related, as the hellboy novels are pretty good.
I read the Dragon Age book. Not very good. It's by the same guy who wrote for the game, which I greatly enjoyed, so I'm not sure exactly what happened.
I'd like to read Marjorie Liu's Dark Mirror (X-Men). Anyone read it?
>>4877Reading it, and enjoying it so far. Kind of weird that Logan and Scott are now girls, and Jean a guy. But still, enjoying it.
Holy shit, why haven't I read this before?
>>5029Oh hey, I have that on my shelf. I'm currently on book 2 of the Bounty Hunter Wars and was gonna read this after the Han Solo Trilogy. Do you recommend bumping it up?
>>5031Yesyesyesyesyesyesyes.Yes.
>>5033Very well then, Solo goes in the back of the "shit I need to read" shelf until Thrawn is done.
Also, this. Magnificent bastard Sebastion is a magnificent bastard.I also enjoy Halo books.
I remember loving the novelization of the first Spider-Man movie.
>>5029Thank god for Half-Price books and their cheap, used, but still-in-good-condition hardcovers.
I remember trying to read a Sister Sister book, on the basis that I fucking loved Sister Sister. I stopped after the first chapter, when I realised mischievous shenanigans would not be taking place.
..Huh. I do this kind of shit as exercise all the time. Like pulp, I had no idea it was currently acceptable/respectable. Yet another thing to add to my list of shit to do. (polite sage for talking out loud.)
