So, /writ/, I have a question. How can you tell if what you write is, as they say, 'good enough'? How can one discern what they have written is of quality?
If you're writing on you're own, you're the only judge. If you're writing for money, the person paying you is the only judge
Fang's got it right, yeah. Stopping a story is often a work of will-you have to be strong enough to say, "Okay, I'm done obsessing about this, time to move on."
Don't think we're not open to critiquing work, though. When you're writing on your own, you're the only real judge, but input from the peanut gallery is always nice.
>>4131>>4129Thanks for the advice. as for critiquing, do I just copy it on here, or what? I'm new to doing more on /writ/ than just posting.
>>4134Google docs, DevART, LJ, etc.Post links.
>>4135ok..well, all my stuff is on this site, I suppose one could just read the stuff with the most reviews, as that's the stuff generally well-liked/appreciated:www.fictionpress.com/~nestitch
