Ok apparently there is a virus on my flash drive. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it?
insert it into a Linux machine and reformat.
turn off auto startformat drive
>>1533 >>1546 Actually, a lot of viruses can survive formatting, depending on where they're storing themselves. Even on a flash drive.OP, you said 'apparently'. How do you know that you 'apparently' have a virus on it, and what virus? That'll help figure out how to fix it.
Virus writers are why we can't have nice things.

Right, but make sure you boil it for 15 minutes before disposing of it. You wouldn't want it to start a pandemic. Just imagine that cloud hanging over your head.
