Is there any reason why Nidoran female can breed, but not Nidorina and Nidoqueen? I've been wondering about it for a while and I can't think of why they'd make that decision. are Nidokings just pedos?

Nidoran female are easier to subdue and bonk silly, being much tinier and weaker than their evolved forms.

And maybe Nidoking does like 'em young.

I think if Nirodina or Nidoqueen were to breed, it'd be female Nidoran every time. They can fudge with the system for female Nidoran and male Nidoran, but not their evolutions.

Based on that Mewtwo tv special, I'd say that Nidorina and Nidoqueen break the breeding rules. I mean, look at this, not only is this a baby Nidoqueen, but there's a baby Rhyhorn too. Baby is the base stage of the mother's species only my ass.

Or it could be that anime rules are different/it's because they're clones. I don't know, it was the most sensible explanation I could come up with.

On this same topic: Now that Gen VI's introduced gender-based evolution and physiology differences, wouldn't it be easier to merge the base forms of Nidoran Male and Female into one species and have it split? They only learn one move different from each other before they evolve, it would not really matter if they took that out and gave them the same movelist before evolving.

No.8314
They're sort of like reverse ants. The weaker, unevolved forms are the ones who reproduce. As they evolve, they lose the ability to procreate, but gain enhanced strength to better defend and care for their weaker kin.

But for a serious answer, I'd say >>8310 sounds right.

...You know, you keep doing roman numerals wrong. It should look like IV. But you keep saying "Gen 6."

Because their stats and which EV they give away are different.

Plus they would have to retcon them to have a single Pokedex entry, and have to subsequently renumber 90% of the other Pokemon.

Nidoqueens are physically incapable of copulating, due to their bony exteriors and large tails.

>>8312
Baby Nidoqueens can only result from artificial insemination.
