Is it really possible to play it "ironically?" I mean, I know a lot of people who started playing Deadly Premonition because it's cheesy and has low production values, but they wound up enjoying the game because... well, I haven't played it, but there seems to be something to enjoy nonetheless. I've been playing HG/SS because I like it as a game, and the cheesier/trite elements I find more annoying than amusing. I mean, are hipsters pulling out their DSes and playing them openly in front of coffee joints or something like that?
