Indeed a Real life pokemon because we have a pokemon based on it

I was thinking this topic was about real life animals that don't have pokemon based on them already and seem like they should. Right?

Hate to break it to you, but Crichton made that part up, along with the poison spit. It's also worth noting that the dilophosaurus in the movie was pretty tiny compared to the real thing, which was twenty feet long and weighed half a ton.

But which would you rather have: the dinosaur that can tear throats AND spit poison, or the dinosaur that just tears throats?

I know JP's Dilophosaurus isn't accurate, but I wouldn't be surprised if Gamefreak decided to go with something similar.

The JP Dilophosaurus is more Pokemon worthy, but the real one is more badass. Maybe have the real version be an evolved form of the baby poison-spit frillbeast.

To compensate, here's a little something called the therizinosaurus. I think it'd make an excellent pokemon.

iirc, Chrichton's dilophosaurs were actual-sized (or close, at least) and didn't have frills. The venomous thing and the spitting thereof, on the other hand, was all him.

To be politically correct, these predators are sometimes called “Catalchis,” “Humpers” or "Kuh." But every Snaiadi local knows them by their true name: to them, these animals are Fuckers. The sight of a Fucker's weapon is enough to warrant its name. Connected directly to the pelvis, this is a knife-like structure that, when wielded by the hydraulic muscles on the animal's back, can inflict tremendous damage. The absence of genitalia or other vitally important organs in the pelvic region of Snaiad “vertebrates” has freed up this area for further evolutionary development and “humping” predatory habits or pelvic spikes have evolved more than once on Snaiad, among the primitive Turtiformes and snake-like Emmiformes. In most environments, the Fututoriformes compete for predatory niches with the equally well-armed Kahydroniformes. As a result of their anatomical specializations, Fuckers usually fare better as precision-striking ambush hunters, while Kahydrons are more adept at chasing down prey over long distances.

Fuckers are a comparatively recent group, appearing in the fossil record around the same time as Kahydronts, +- 22 million years ago. The evolution of these predatory guilds seems to have affected mainland faunas quite drastically, with a lot of “archaic” predators and some of the stranger herbivores disappearing within a short span of time.

Water/fight squid, water/psychic cuttlefish and water/dark octopus.

No.7163
>>7159
I know Cuttlefish have their hypno colours, but I'm incline to vote octopi for psychic, they're the smartest of the three. Octopi learn to do tricks and get bored once they master them, so you have to keep finding more difficult tricks to teach them or else they revolt. Cuttlefish are content to learn tricks and perform them on command, squids have the capacity to learn tricks but don't care about impressing people and go straight to the revolt part.

But only three Pokemon have that type combo. Granted, Tentacool/Tentacruel have single-handedly run it into the ground, but I think it could be made fresh again.

No.7174
>>7163
But Cuttlefishes have more, how to say this... well-defined bodies, stretching behind them like a long cape, in some cases flashing in wondrous colours. That's some wizard shit right there.
Octopuses are a lot more shady and slimy, and having their tentacles places al around their "heads" instead of centred at the front give them good capabilities for sneak attacks and hidden weapons. A lot more shady.

That said, as long as I get a brainy octopus and cuttlefish duo with some mean squid muscles to back it up It doesn't matter much who's who.

Yeah, that does suck. I adopted Chessie. You know about Chessie? This motherfucker man, he got fed up with the herd and was like "fuck y'all, I'm goin to Jersey". And he did. Three times.
