  Man what an awesome Gastly

All hail the Ghastly that gave us Venustoise.

To this day I am slightly disappointed they never did anything more with that.

I too got disappointed they pretty much demoted Gastly (and worse, its evolutions too) to animal next time they showed up.

I mean, how come just this one could shapeshift, talk, and was essentially invincible?

The four best Ghost Pokemon are Misdreavus, Gastly, Frosslass and Shedinja

Together they own a time share condo and have wacky misadventures.

Because it made no sense in the context of the series and was better to just move on and pretend it didn't happen.

If a non-unique, non-legendary, FIRST STAGE Pokemon was this stupidly hax why wouldn't everyone use them?

Anyway, I'm guessing this was just one of those "special cases" where a single Pokemon has powers for certain reasons that others of it's species don't, like that Ninetales that was so old it could create illusions.

Also, it wasn't the only one to shapeshift/make illusions. The bunch of wild ghosts that Team Rocket ran into in Ecruteak City tricked them into eating a bunch of leaves they thought were food.

No.5786
I love how they always made a big deal out of Meowth being able to talk, and even early on when we'd practically trip over other talking ones.

No.5787

Well it was really only this one and Meowth that talked. All others that spoke, like Mewtwo, were using telepathy.

The Black Fog from Electric Tale of Pikachu.

A bus-sized Haunter followed by clouds of Gastlies, old enough to have been worshiped by ancient civilizations and powerful enough to have grown completely solid without evolving. It subsisted by using Dream Eater to consume human souls, killing them outright in the process. After breaking out of a Master Ball, it continued terrorizing the legion of trainers attempting to rescue Sabrina from its grasp before lethally self destructing to avoid capture.

Honestly, imagine this this as a Gengar.

Yeah, the G1 ghost line is proper nightmare fuel with just a little effort.

I prefer the censorship, tbh. Whenever I see women in manga and anime wearing ridiculously short shorts and shirts, all I can think about is a horny old Japanese man masturbating furiously while drawing them.

No.7212
I never support censorship, certainly not over something as silly as a tank top and a some short shorts. The hot springs was even sillier, considering they had THE EXACT SAME SCENE in the anime's Cinnabar arc.

I actually recall them taking a scene with Ash and Gary's Sister and covering the whole page except their heads just because they were both in the same bed (it wasn't even suggestive as I recall, she was just reading to him or something).

... She didn't grab her tits in the anime. And the partition between them did collapse, but it still wasn't as fanservicey.

Honestly, I don't understand why people are against some censorship, especially things like this. If this was a teen's manga, I'd understand, but this was intended for kids, who don't really need to see this much tit and ass.
