I stalled in SoulSilver against Red when even with several hours of grinding I couldn't beat more than two of his six.

To this date that's the only main game I've bought and not finish even once.
Well, I didn't do a lot of the extra stuff in Platinum (which I know is insanely stupid when that's why you buy Platinum anyway).

I didn't bother looking at stats, but I think my team is going to be.....

Dinobird (my fav, because I loved dinos as a kid)
CoolCroc (he just looks cool and has a unique type.)
Ghost-chandelier (awesome concept, and makes up for the disappointment of Desukan not being ghost/rock or ground)
Buffafro (looks cool, looks powerful.)
Lolitower (I'm a perv)
Smuglord (the only good final starter evo, imo.)

I'ld just like to point out, real quick, that I am a little miffed at Candlelier. It's the first ghost we've had who's weak to ground type attacks who can be hit by them. It's been tradition for the last 4 gens that ghost type Pokemon who would otherwise be weak to ground have had levitate. And this fucker is a chandelier it should have levitate to begin with. This is a totally Magnemite situation here, where the Pokemon looks like it should fly but does not at all.

Not really enough to seriously piss me off or anything, but it's enough to make me scratch my head and be slightly miffed about it.

HOWEVER, THIS DARK-FIGHTING FUCKER IS MY NEW BEST FRIEND

Pokemon Sunday is ending, but Pokemon Smash will be taking its place.
With the same core cast, but some extra faces!

Lucario and Chimchar do seem to be out of the pitcture.
It seems like Zoroark (and not Zorua) and Mijumaru are the new Pokemon.

On the plus side, I can sync it to Platinum where my teams usually stay, on the downer, I've gotta unlock and/or buy all my clothes again.
