>>9602 You're still overreacting to it, heavily
>>9605YOU'RE overreacting to it!
PEGGY I'VE GOT PROPANE IN MY URETHRA
>>9588I'm sure you fucking his face surprised Dragon as well.
>>9604This man speaks reason.
So Dragon's ship confirmed for eastern-style dragon. Which means he's probably not going to breath fire any time soon. Also, holy shit Crocodile looked hot in this chapter. Well, hotter.
Also Inazuma's female again! I hope we see him/her again after this.
How is Crocodile any "hotter"..?He's literally wearing the exact same get-up he always wears, just in a different color scheme (maybe)..I've honestly never understood why people think he's so hot.
>>9617Because he's manly, suave, and tall?
>>9618He's also hideously scarred, has the eyes of a blood hound on its best day and has the skin of a rotting squash.Sengoku's tall, manly and suave, and you don't see the fangirls creaming themselves over him..
>>9619Those are some really distressing assumptions you're making. Croc's scar isn't nearly as bad as Zoro's (also hot), and Sengoku isn't suave, he's a stick in the mud.
His scar is most definitely not hideous.Rule of thumb: if a character's scar is drawn onto their face instead noticeably altering the shape of their face there is a 0% chance of it causing viewers of the opposite sex to find that character ugly, and a 60% or higher chance of it appealing to or causing a scar fetish.
>>9622>scar fetishYOU RANG?
>>9619>He's also hideously scarred, has the eyes of a blood hound on its best day and has the skin of a rotting squash. My kind of man.
Arguing with fangirls.. Goodness, what was I thinking.
>>9626:3c
>>9626How about this, don't argue stupid things. Croc is one of the most attractively drawn dudes in One Piece. At least argue that he's a horrible person, you might win that one.
>>9626>arguing with fangirlsIt's like trying to make shit smell good just by yelling at it
>bitching about fangirls>most awesome fandom shit produced by said fangirlso u gaiz
>>9636Never before has a sword's second edge cut so deep.
>>9631Trust me, that road leads to nowhere.
>>9636>Dr NurseOh hey look at that, opinion invalidated.
>>9631It comes down to individual taste. Arguing hat he isn't or that he is is retarded in itself. This is not some kind of science. You cannot prove ether side wrong....That said. Oda knows how to draw manly men like "God damn!" all of the sudden.
Here's some of my thoughts on the chapter so we can get off of this topic that will only lead to ruin and foolishness.-Ivankov? More like Ivankocktease, amirite?-I'm glad Vivi appeared. I'm glad she's still represented as a member of the crew.-Buggy is going to become a shichibukai, although I really want him to be declared King of the Pirates in my heart of hearts.-The tenryubito theory is probably the most likely one for Luffy, but I am hoping that Silvers's plot involves Bon Clay in some way. The dialogue between Crocodile and Daz Bones is what put it in my mind. The line about wounds disappearing specifically.
>"Why are fangirls attracted to Crocodile?">"Here's why.">"You're a fangirl so I'm not listening to you."Don't ask questions you don't want answered. And the only reason that people find Crocodile hotter now than during the "Whitebeard vs. World Government" arc is because his behavior is more evocative of the way he acted back in Alabasta what with the scheming and the shit-eating grins.
>>9619Sengoku is tall and manly(or was in the past) but he isn't suave, that's for sure. 1. He has stupid facial hair2. he has an afro3. he's a squarefangirls like things like this in villains1. they're bad, but not irredeemably so2. they're handsome3. some kind of deformity or serious injury, a disease could also work4. medium-long hair5. pulled back/slicked back hairlook at all the most beloved villains and tell me they don't have atleast two of these.
>>9642See>>9631That's why I'm not about to start arguing with fangirls, cause the "valid" response I'm gonna get is nothing short of incoherent bullshit laced with their drool.
>>9644You are an angry person.
>>9647If you say so.Great addition to the conversation, by the way.
>>9648That's why I saged. I try to sage whenever I'm just voicing an opinion that's irrelevant to the topic at hand.
>>9643
>>9641>>I'm glad she's still represented as a member of the crew. I'm sorry what? I know that people really like the idea of Vivi being a crew member, but for someone who not only has an entire country to run but hasn't been seen since her single story arch up until this point in the story, that's just incredibly unlikely bro.
>>9701I think he means that even though she has a job to do, she's still a Strawhat at heart.
>>9701Honorary crew member. She can't be with them, of course, but they're still her crew and she's still theirs.
>>9641Oh fuck.I just realized in horror that that could happenLike, at the very end of it all, Luffy turns back because having nakama he could trust is his bigger dream, and he's so high tier now he has the freedom he wanted but choosing the treasure means loosing one of the crew. So Buggy gets ahold of one piece cause it's just sitting there, and is declared pirate king. This maybe belongs in the speculation thread, but you just put that in my head. Shit.
>>9710Like Roger would really leave a treasure like that.
>>9643>Croc>redeemable.no. Lets stop and think about what a monster this guy is. He goaded a whole country into a war and murdered hundreds just to get his hands on some dirty super weapon. If he becomes a good guy, I need Oda to keep this in mind. Despite Luffy, pirates are NOT good people. Also, I think Sengokus a pretty cool guy. He's Garp's bro, he knows when to end a war and he hates the truth being covered up.
>>9718Sengoku's a good man, just a pragmatic one who has to put up with a lot of shit. Even disregarding his blatantly evil higher-ups, just look at all his highest ranked marines.
>>9718 Sengoku is pretty awesomeCroc's a sandy tool
>>9718Yeah, I figured he'd be more of the Akinu type, but it seems he's basically smoker if that man compromised.
>>9718 It's unlikely Croc would ever become a full good guy, but I could see him being an ally or an anti-villian/anti-hero type. It does seem to be implied that he has a sympathetic backstory we haven't heard yet.
>>9718>no. Lets stop and think about what a monster this guy is. He goaded a whole country into a war and murdered hundreds just to get his hands on some dirty super weapon. You do realize goad a country into war and watch hundreds or even millions get slaughtered is the Revolutionaries MODUS OPERANDI.But I digress, Croc may go neutral but he can never be 'Good'He has to represent what Luffy could always become, a murderous bastard who is willing to do anything for his goals, Just like Papa!
>>9868I still think it's hilarious that Croc is irredeemable (he is, don't get me wrong), but Hancock is fucking free game to become the best nicest person ever. She kicks adorable animal and kills hundreds of men for no fucking reason other than "FUCK BITCH I AM BOA". At least Croc had a plan. Also he loved his crocodiles. So I mean, yeah.
>>9870I think he's beyond redemption at this point, but learning about his backstory will be interesting. He might end up being Brutus and we're watching the show through the eyes of Marcus Antonius instead.
>>9870I'm just saying that his Dad is as bad as Croc if not worse, He does the exact same thing that Croc did except on a world wide scale. Infact he WOULD have done it himself to Alabasta because they work for the world government.Do people think the revolutionaries would go "Oh hey the Kings a good leader, lets leave him alone?"Nope he would have done the same thing. It wouldn't shock me if Croc was an agent sent to do just that. And yes Dragon is Canon doing this, the last bounty updates had him at a recently finished rebellion base.
>>9626>thinking>arguing with fangirlsHm. Crocodile's pretty awesome, but comparatively, there are hotter characters in OP. For instance, Raylei--ImeanAce.
>>9718I didn't say croco-boy was redeemable, I was just listing off popular things with the fangirls
>>9874You're not hiding anything, we all know about your old man fetish Tim.Also I think this is like, I think it comes down to ALL THESE CHARACTERS ARE AWFUL, whether or not they're redeemable is hard to say because while the crew can forgive them their trespasses, that doesn't mean that the reader necessarily does, and it certainly doesn't mean the people whose lives they ruined will.
>>9873There is at least ONE slight difference (well, maybe two) between Croc and the Revolutionaries. The first, is that the audience doesn't see most of what the Revolutionaries do. That helps make them more likable by a LARGE margin, seeing as we never actually know what kind of crimes put someone like Kuma or Ivankov in such hot water. But secondly, the Revolutionaries are portrayed as good intentioned group going down an insanely violent path. Croc has never shown such good intentions: everything he's done is either for himself, or out of outright petty spite. He didn't just not care about others around him, he meticulously destroyed anyone around him just to show off that he could.
>>9877and? Dragon would have done the exact same thing, The revolutionaries have caused the deaths of millions of innocent lives by inciting riots around the world. We all thought Sengoku was EEEVIL because of 'cover up the poneglyphs' but we all changed our minds after the war, so... If it's revealed Croc did everything under Dragons orders, does that redeem him or condemn the revolutionaries. Likewise Buggy was a giant prick yet he's been redeemed through comedy.
