Slightly anti climatic. Mostly I feel Shanks and Sengoku made a huge mistake by letting BB go, they both know how dangerous he is and should have at least tried to stop him first rather than just threatening him. It's a bad, illogical move. I'm fine with the war against the Whitebeard Pirates ending this way though.

It is so weird having a calm chapter after all that. Wonder what will happen next.... perhaps the funerals. Or maybe it will focus on Luffy in Law's ship, or maybe it will jump over to the strawhats finally.

Huh. The calm in this chapter is kinda unnerving. We've been so keyed up for so long...

This could mean one thing, though - since losses have been cut, the Marines are still gonna be in the game.

You act like Ace and Whitebeard dying don't mean anything, that's stupid as hell.
And Shank's + crew are strong enough to act as a deterrent, him stopping the fighting is not against his character.

What happens now?

Seems fairly obvious that, with Marco unable to lead the remnants himself in the wake of what happened, the Whitebeard pirates will disband into their respective crews across the New World.

Buggy (with Mr. 3 riding his coattails unto unwitting glory) will, despite his best efforts, become one of the most feared pirates in the world. "Yonkou Buggy"? Well, it's possible.

Crocodile will scavenge a new crew from the scattered New World pirates and return to his long-shelved dream of becoming Pirate King. Das Bones will undoubtedly go along and, when he resurfaces, so shall Bon Clay.

With two Shichibukai gone (Jimbei and Blackbeard both resigned; Hancock's still one of their own despite hijacking a marine ship to peruse her beloved) the Government is going to have a hell of a time finding replacements. I've heard people mention Kidd, but... I can't really see it, myself.

...and on a side note, what the hell is behind Doflamingo's glasses?
